Need to fill some points for my highlander Tyranid list...

So, didn't think this was appropriate for "army lists", as it is intended as more of a discussion than a straight list, but oh well here goes...

Here is my list currently:

Hive tyrant, wings, x2 TL devourers, electroshock grubs, fighter ace 275

Tervigon 195

Malanthrope 85
Fast Attack

Heavy Support

I am running a pure highlander list, very occasionally for that type of tournament, more just for fun as I have converted all of my bugs to be their own sort of individual monster (graboid from tremors, Gojira, etc). I have been trying to run Old One Eye, as he is the only way currently I could run a carnifex, but I have finally hit the wall with him and given him the boot.

So My question to you guys and girls is what would you put in to fill the gap to 1850-2000 points? I do enjoy silliness and have even thought of pyrovores attached to a miasma cannon prime in the pod... SO really any answer I will accept, I would just prefer a decent reason behind it other than just "use a blah, the end"

Thoughts?

I don't see Deathleaper...? That might be a fun add in...also Zoey, and Veno would be good force multipliers.

Why not a LAN formation? It'll bypass your filled Heavy Slots, uses no units you're already using (thus fine for Highlander), and simultaneously provides...

1. Backfield synapse.
2. Some anti-horde, long-range shooting
3. Some anti-TEQ shooting.

Edit: Well, mis-read that, but still... pull the Exocrine out of the normal CAD, and insert him into said formation. :-p

Also, as others have said, a single Venom for another source of Shroud, or a Zoey for Warp Charges/synapse.

Throw a unit of Rippers w/DS in there for some cheap scoring/linebreaker grabbing.

The LAN idea mentioned above is very good, too, as it opens up other HS options. Then you can put in a Carnifex if you want to (I'm sure you don't need explaining as to what Fexen are good). Adding LAN and a Fex will just about use up all the points you have left.

What would you guys bump to drop it to 1850?

I could also move the terv to HQ, lose the mandatory termagants and sub in a unit of DS rippers and single mucolid instead...

Thoughts?
