As the topic says. Is it now a unit called "Tank Commander" (or Knight-Commander Pask), or is it "Leman Russ Something With Tank Commander" that moves the Leman Russ squadron to HQ?

I can't promise this is how it would work, but Battlescribe labels the unit as "Command Battle Tank" or "Command Executioner" or "Command Demolisher" etc. once you view your list.

So it's a tank called "Command whatever", accompanied by normal russes, to form the HQ squadron.

The Unit is called "Tank Commander" - that's the unit you selected from the codex.
The unit will comprise of Leman Russ.

Because I hate the BS of Leman Russes. And I'd like to get two people who can make orders in a single group. If the item was "Leman Russ With Tank Commander" then you could have Pask & a Commander, two commanders, pask and two, or three. And if you then also had a squadron in heavy support, you could give it orders and not take it off your main dude -- order the squad of close ranges in front to shoot and shroud and the back to split fire, two zoomies, etc.

Well in that case I'm afraid you're going to be disappointed.

The problem you run into is this: When building a tank commander, he is accompanied by 1-2 leman russes. if you want a second tank commander, you buy another squadron of 2-3 russes with 1 a tank commander. Pask is then an upgrade to one tank commander in the army.
