After loosing several times to Eldar i want to make a list, that can easy get into my enemies deployment and kill his army. So here is the list:
Ork Horde Detachment - 802 pts
HQ
Painboy (50pts)
Painboy (50pts)
Painboy (50pts)

Troops
19x Boy : Shoota + Boss Nob: Bosspole , Power Klaw , Shoota
19x Boy : Shoota + Boss Nob: Bosspole , Power Klaw , Shoota
19x Boy : Shoota + Boss Nob: Bosspole , Power Klaw , Shoota

Fast Attack
3xDeffkopta: TL Rokkits, 1 Buzzsaw

Mogroks Bossboys - 487 pts
Big Mek
Gift: Da Finkin' Kap,Warlord,'Eavy Armour, Kustom Force Field , Power Klaw
Big Mek
'Eavy Armour, Kustom Force Field , Power Klaw
Big Mek
'Eavy Armour, Kustom Force Field , Power Klaw
Warboss
Bosspole , Gift: Da Lucky Stikk , Power Klaw, Warbike
Weirdboy
Psyker Mastery Level 2

Every asqud of boyz gets a Big Mek and a Painboy and some of them get Outflank. Warboss outflanks with Deffkoptas. Weirdboy also sticks around. How do you think - can this list be effective against eldar? Can it be effective in general?

Well its definitely interesting, your sinking a lot of points into 3 boyz squads to givem a 5++ and a 5+ FNP. and the only way for you to actually kill anything is to get into CC with it.....thats kinda hard to do against eldar who run away like TAU players every turn.

I come in peace. I didn't bring artillery. But I'm pleading with you, with tears in my eyes: If you mess with me, I'll kill you all

Not nearly enough of a list to do anything against anyone really. You need more bodies, vehicles to deliver you to the fight and something to distract your enemy. You have very little of any of those. If you're walking, walk in groups of 30 if you're using boys.

Is it very competitive? No, but it is different and could provide some amusement.

i play against eldar as orks A LOT and i would say that it would work if eldar didnt have wave serpents. the reason being that most eldar weapons arent above s7 so you would get your inv and feel no pain, but you would have to take out the wave serpents to charge whats inside before you get to them, or suffer an extra turn of taking shooting. in the mean time, you dont have many units, which could be a problem.

it COULD work against some armies of eldar. it really depends on what they bring, but i think the foot slogging is too slow, especially with nothing in front to distract.

Well, my opponents usualy don't have more than 1-2 Wave Serpents 'cos Serpent spam is very expensive in real life money. They do tend to have lots of artillery and Monofilment weapons. I had lots of cases when my boyz and meganobs inside a BW were fried to death by a monofilament flamer with S8 and then the BW exploded and my squad was basicaly dead. Bringing lots of bikers isn't a solution - I don't have them, so I see an opportunity in outflanking D3 units of boyz and a Warboss with Deffkoptas. Might not be the most versitile tactic, but the arnies I face aren' relying on mobility, but on shooting a crapload of dice at the enemy and a brutal psycic phase.

When faced with Eldar shooty lists and not much heavy armor all you need is your own heavy weapons. If you have a naut it is enoyable to watch your opponent freak out about it and forget about the boyz until "Oohhhhh crap they are right on top of me"

With the fact that you have a small amount of bikers we can't do that. How many trukks do you have?
You could put the meganobz with the warboss & mega mek in a battlewagon.

'Nids growing soon
3500 pts. unpainted
Admech 1000 buying & building
If you don't enjoy playing against people with unpainted armies, break into their house when they sleep, paint their figures for them, help yourself to their cheerios and then your problems will be solved.
Well, my opponents usually don't have more than 1-2 Wave Serpents 'cos Serpent spam is very expensive in real life money.

If looking to try an outflanking-heavy force, you could always consider Da Redskull Kommandoes?

But yeah. The force should work, but you've only got 60 boyz for the real 'punch'. True, they're starting close, and with a 5+/5+ should be harder to bring down.... I dunno. The big decider will be if you get the charge off, which is why I'd be very tempted to make the Warboss your warlord for access to Waaaggh!

Meganobs in a BW are my go-to in most cases, but eldar just blow up the BW and shoot them to death. Especialy when they get to go first.

I would happily do that with 30 boys in a squad but points are running low for that. Unfortunatly I can't make the warboss my warlord, since the formation demands a Big Mek to be your warlord. But the Red Skull Kommandos might be worth it in bigger games.

for heavy outflanking you could go for warbugges, the kommando formation and try and get the infiltrate warlord trait and infiltrate 3x30 boyz with painboyz

Take those lootas, and utilize them. Eldar AV is pretty low, so spamming those s7 shots will be tasty. Make sure you break them into smaller units though: without a cost-effective means of adding a BP to them, theyre gonna want to run a lot.

Something that I've seen work pretty well versus mobile shooty armies is a biker gang with a big mek wielding a KFF to bubblewrap battlewagons.

Yeah, I thought of a Biker Mek. As soon as I get my hands on a Warbikers kit I will build one. And stick him with the Koptas.

Cheap way to do biker orks: look online for AoBR deffkoptas. Theyre all over out there, and theyre usually cheap. Conver away!!! Also, using hot wheels/tech decks from thrift stores work well as a proxy, for trying things out. Just stick an ork on top, and boom! easy peasy.
