What HQ would add more to a bike squad with 2 grav guns, combi-grav sarge and an attack bike with MM?

A libby on bike with combi grav and divination
Or
A Sang. Priest on bike with combi grav adding FnP and +1WS to squad

Also, what about grav pistols? Do you think they are overcosted?

Imo a libby. Divination could give a big boost to that unit.
The only great drawback is when you match an army with muchmore warp charges.

I think grav bikes with FnP is a thing but libby with prescience is just great. Hard to decide.

You get 2 HQ slots, so why not both!

You really need two librarians in a list, I think.

A Librarian casting Prescience is an extra hit or two per turn. A Sanguinary Priest is a 33% increase in durability. Both are roughly the same cost, both buffs are decent. I personally think FnP is more valuable.

A 2nd Level Librarian is a decent choice too, as you have a better chance of getting Ignores Cover or an invul save (great buffs for grav bikers).

You do have to consider the opportunity cost of putting these guys in a Bike squad vs putting them in a Death Company or Sanguinary Guard squad. Sang Guard benefit not only from the FnP, but also from the +1WS. Death Company get to re-roll TONS of hits with Prescience (including hidden Power Fists, which hit as hard as Grav Guns). If you don't have any DC or SG, then mounting your mandatory HQ choice on a bike and embedding him with a Grav Bike squad is a good choice. Otherwise... I would give them jump packs and embed them with your elite jump troops.

Divination has a lot of great stuff other than prescience. The librarian also provides psychic defense, which can be useful as well.

Go with two Sanguinary Priests with bikes and combi-gravs. Librarians are essentially useless with only 1 or 2 in an army.

Two librarians have worked fine for me.

A Librarian provides versatility as well. You can roll for Divination and Prescience when you know that your Death Company are going to need those re-rolls to hit, while at other times you can roll for something else more beneficial in other situations like taking Quickening if you need those extra attacks and initiative on a character.
