Hi guys, looking to get back into fantasy and just wondered what's a newbie friendly army to start with, i love the look of warriors of chaos, but really dont want anything too technical, iv watched a few games in my local GW and most of it went over my head, iv picked up the rule book which im hammering at the moment, but yeah Newbie friendly army to start with? Im more for playing than the looks if that helps

Thanks in advance.

The thing is, you're going to have to like how your army looks aesthetically, especially if you plan on painting 100+ miniatures yourself. Figuring out which faction really grabs your attention is important. Check out the lore of each one. Which models look so badass that you just *have* to have one? You'll figure out the rules as you go. I'm just returning to WHFB, and after just a couple of games, you'll follow along just fine. Don't just stare at the BRB until you burn out before you've even played, watch batreps on Youtube and head down to your FLGS to see things in action. This is a *game* after all, why not just enjoy it?
