I don't see the value in such a big unit of Wraiths? That's 300 points in 1 place that is nothing more than a Tarpit. I just don't see big units of them viable since the nerf in this codex. This list looks like it wants to be a Tomb blade spam list. Or are you join the 2 Characters to the Wraiths? If so why not just swap them for 10 Lychguard saving yourself points and having an actual threat. Since you're losing the 12" movement anyway.
I would max out the Tomb blades and look at perhaps switching over to a Decurion. I would also probably go to all gauss as you'll rarely need or want 10 blasts going at 1 target and 20 twin linked ignores cover S5 Ap4 shots should muller any horde you need dead.

More tomb blades. Almost without a doubt they are the number one unit in Necron codex and maybe in any codex. I'd take guass on them all - twin linked means you're going to get lots of Str 5 AP 4 hits that ignore cover. You'll melt through prety much everything.

This Tomb blades are ludicrous.

How have wraiths been nerfed? All the nerdgasms over wraiths seem to disagree with you. You have made me very curious.
Automatically Appended Next Post: After doing the math I think wraiths and tomb blades are very balanced against each other in the codex.
A fully kitted TB with shield vanes, Neb scope and Beamer is 24 points per wound.
A wraith is 23 points per wound for nearly the exact same stats.
the differences are that the Blades are jetbikes vs the Wraiths beast class plus wraith flight (ignores all intervening terrain etc.
Assuming wraith are only upgraded with whip coils, all of the wraiths' damage output is in CC which of course comes with the detriments inherent in that phase.
Are blades better for one point per model? Yes, I think that is the proper conclusion. However, depending on the list, there is definitely a place for wraiths over blades.

I wouldn't take Particle beamers on Tomb blades pushing them down to 22 points for ignores cover Gauss. Serpents are very worried. Even Imperial Knights can be taken down in short order. You obliterate hordes too and volume of wounds on MEQs does the job. Tomb blades are literally great at everything.
Wraiths got needed because the thing that made them competitive got taken away. In the previous book a 3++ made firing high quality fire at them a little pointless volume fire was the way to kill them. Sure they could be ID'd by S8 but the Dlord at the front of the unit would take that particularly if from Missile Launchers as he would have a 2+ armour. So the T boost has done very little for their survivability as they were always very survivable, if anything they are more vulnerable to ID now as they don't have a T6 tank anymore, likewise you could argue the improved T has not helped them against volume fire as much as a 2+ tank did (particularly given how prevalent S7 volume fire is). What they have lost is killing power which was only moderate with the Dlord giving PE and a Warscythe, which is now poor.
They are simply a tarpit now (granted probably the best tarpit in the game) and that limits their usefulness, particularly in larger units. Small units that are quick and can tie up important enemy units are useful and are what the Wraiths do well. If you actually want stuff dead then Destroyers and Tomb blades are vastly superior in this codex.

Thanks FlingitNow!
I will have to revisit my list.
Is there any way to support the Blades? maybe with a destroyer lord w/ res orb? They are going to attract A LOT of attention if not spammed.

Someone made the point that the Gauss is a bit better at just all around killyness.
Plus you jink you lose the ability to shoot. I could alternate and drop the Canoptek Harvest but ST4 AP2 kills you on a 6 is super awesome. Also, if you get the first turn you can just move up the board with impunity. Nothing is going to kill a 3+ Reroll 1s, 4+ anytime soon.
I like this list because people are going to do their best to kill the Spyder, which is expected. If you get the combo off great! If not any small volume fire is going to be a 2+ reroll on Obyron w/ T5.
Obyron can seriously tank some shots.

How do you keep Obyron in front? Doesn't he just move 6"?

At least the Wraiths can do something when they DS in. They provide a nice distraction whilst the Tomb blades blast everything apart. I still think Lychguard offer more for the points and that Wraiths work better as MSU tarpits. But 27 Tomb blades should be enough to win most games.

Yeah Transdimensional Beamers are no joke, at first I was like those are crap! Then I tried them out an was like oh , I see.
Neither Obyron or Orikan are a joke when it comes to close combat the whole squad can teleport in.
Seriously they will mess things up. Especially if he gets empowered then he's just a MC with a 4+ 4++ running around in your back field.

If you are taking Trans Beamers you'd need the Wraiths to be Relentless, which can only happen if you take the Canoptek Formation as part of the Decurion, right?

Doesn't have to be part of a Decurion. The Canoptek Harvest formation is a formation on it's own.

ADL is doing nothing really without someone to shoot it unless its just there for versitility. I can see putting a unit of immortals if you need the anti flyer I guess but think they are better in the scythe for plugging holes and dropping on late game objectives.
Drop that take a third HD and split them into separate units to pop MSU vehicles and make them easier to peek a boo.
Good luck

You might as well take the remaining 8 points and put two whip coils on the wraiths. As many of them need to strike first in CC as possible.
