Hello everyone,
I'm new to this forum and I'm seeking some help on identifying some inherited models with a view to them being ebayed in the future. Any guidance on value would also be fantastic. I am coming in to this having spoke to a lovely enthusiast in a GW store. I have no other knowledge.
I'll provide details where possible. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
Ashley

#1. Looks to be 2nd ed vintage (- early mid 90s) Assault marines with (gold guy) an old Tycho model? (Blood angels Space marines character). Rightmost model is a cyclone missile launcher terminator model.
#2 2nd edition plastic terminators. Fixed head pose, rotatable torso. Still useable as such (some might like to see them rebased - but as vintage models, I prefer to see them on their original bases).
#3 Space Marine blood angel death company chaplain and standard bearer.
#4. Space marine scout, veteran sgt model and kitbashed "scout" from what looks like Necromunda and other parts.
#5. Plastic 2nd ed starter box space marines. Some 3rd edition ones also (missile launcher). Blurry photos otherwise. 2nd ed plastics had chunkier bolt guns and more static pose with guns held closer to chests.
#6. Mix of metal (plastic arms) space marines (also 2nd edition ).
#7. METAL 2nd ed Imperial Guard "Valhallan Ice warriors" troopers WITH a single TALLARN figure (head wrap) carrying ammo.

I'm OVER 50 (and so far over everyone's BS, too).
Old enough to know better, young enough to not give a ****.
That is not dead which can eternal lie ...

The gold guy is indeed Dante.
Starting with the second batch of stuff:
1) Land Speeder, with metal typhoon launchers (they attach instead of the little compartment doors on the rear of the speeder)
2) Baal Predator, old-style kit
3) Furioso Dreadnought
4) Normal Dreadnought
5) a plastic missile launcher dude (3rd ed starter), but the east I can't identify. Definitely Blood Angels from the insignia.
6) 2 Leman Russ Battle Tanks, 1st one is missing the barrel of the main gun.
7) Guessing metal Death Company
8) Chaplain on Bike
9) Cadian Lieutenants
10) Captain in Terminator Armour
11) Tallarn Desert Raiders (the guy with the Cape and sunglasses is a Lieutenant model)
12) Mordian Iron Guard, the guy with the brown coat is a Commissar, though he's missing his axe.

You might be able to get about retail for the Phoenix Lords, Warps Spiders, Warlock, and Eldrad because those are old metal sculpts that are still current. Lots of folks would like to have the models, but not in Finecast. The Avatar is missing his top knot hair so he probably won't fetch as much. The Banshees, Dire Avengers, and Fire Dragons have newer sculpts available, but there may be a collector he still wants them. The second set of Dark Reapers are current sculpts and may fetch a decent price.
Most everything else has been updated/replaced and available in plastic which most people prefer over resin or metal.
In the very first picture you have some BA models from their old Honor Guard kit. The guy in the center with the axe is a Tech Adept (Tech Marine) and may be more valuable than the others. The guy behind him to the right with white trim on the shoulder pad is a Sanguinary Priest. He may have some value.

FYI, if posting these on Ebay, try not to put too much value on a model being OOP if there is a replacement already in production.
Of the models you have listed, your highest value is probably on the metal Imperial Guard models, as most of them are no longer available in any fashion, so you should get a good price on those (above retail). However, the marine models will likely fetch less money because while OOP, they mostly have better replacements currently being sold.

Hello, brief interruption: the red jump pack guys in the first pic with gold Dante are actually late 90's "Blood Angel Honor Guard." which was basically just a special command squad that had access to jumpacks. You can notice the techmarine, sanguinary priest (apothecary), and the vet sarge by their special doodads.
