Very cool. Looks like a difficult place to fight but great change from the flat 5 piece table we usually see.

Oh yes.. the rivers don't fit 'cause they were built to stand alone... this was a commission for some different place and exibitions! but i had to try to make a game on it! =)

LOL! Kezwick has CDO issues with it and my pattern recognition sense is freaking out over the repeating patterns everywhere, especially in terrain where there is generally little to no patten repeat. After looking at the blog showing the original source pieces I can see why the OP did what he did. Of course I immediately checked ebay to see if any of theses pieces were available, because I would like to do the same thing but chop them up more to reduce the pattern repeat.

Just called my wife over to look at the pics and she had problems just looking at it because of a sensory overload issue: too much similar stuff to look at.

Very nicely done! Thanks for the (freaking us out) post.

The rivers not matching would annoy me after a while. However it would be amazing to play on. Imagine a veh heavy army trying to play this? It just begs of a planet being absorbed by the Nids and the forlorn defenders fighting till the bitter end. I can also see some excellent photo opportunities with the different heights. I think the only down side would be storing them, I'm guessing they'll take up quite a lot of space and are just asking to get knocked.

Whatever I really like them and would love to game on them.

Various Armies, from 2k to 4k.

Nice terrain, great job. I like terrain with a lot going on, too many with just a tree and a hill.

So did you build one piece from scratch and then vacuform it before texturing and painting?

There some more images on blog!
anyway, i had some pieces like this

then I made a little "cut &glue" ..covered some craters with plasticard/cardboard/polistyrene and glued.. then i'd covered all with a construction glue... "Mapei" using a wet old brush..
before the glue dry out, i've addes some sand.. that stick on the glue...
at the end i've coloured all with spray cans

on ebay i've sold some of those vacuform..

I don't know if is possible to link there...
