The troupe go into the Venom (it's cheaper and has a bit more Dakka). I would have liked to include more AT in the Dark Eldar side (maybe replace Razorwing with Scourge w/ Heat Lance for AP units? But that would leave me vulnerable against Flyers..)

Would a Harlequin formation work better?

You have a problem if you want to remain "bound"; a lhamaean can only be taken if an archon is taken... that's why it's in the Court of the Archon.

There isn't really a universal consensus on this, best to check with your opponent beforehand.

Nope Court is an HQ choice, it can be taken as unslotted with an Archon, or slotted without. The list is battle forged.

As for it I prefer the Starweaver to the Venom. 6 S6 pseudo rending shots is better in more situations than 12 poisoned 4+ shots. Against low save T4 it is nearly a wash - 4 wounds from Venom, 3.33 from StWeaver, against marines that translates into 1.33 unsaved wounds vs 1.556 unsaved wounds (yay for rending), against T6 3+ save MCs Venom does 1.33 unsaved wounds (yay for poison) vs 1.11. However the ability to hurt light to medium mech swings the balance towards the starweaver IMHO.

I would consider swapping some Jet bikes over to glaives and cannons, they make a great harassment unit that can pike into combat when necessary.

Over all everything in your list just seems too mono purpose. The Venoms are useless against any AV, the Haywires are likewise near useless against infantry and MCs. So a much list causes you problems as half your army is useless, ditto a Nid or Daemon list to the other half. Whilst keeping haywire on some units it good swapping more over to Shuriken Cannons (and doing the same with poison) will enable more of your army contribute in more games.

Take the Magic: The Gathering 'What Color Are You?' Quiz.

Yes my Colour is Black but not for the reasons stated mainly just because it's slimming... http://imperiusdominatus.blogspot.com
