Here is a list that I am tinkering around with, and wanted to know how competitive you guys think that it would be?

Lose a riptide. One of the hbc ones as you have way too much anti air. Use the points to beef up your crisis squads. Get your required 3 man and then fill out your troops with more Msu units.

Great to see you're using skyrays, but they eliminate the need for pathfinders which you can easily drop to boost points elsewhere.
Your list is illegal at the moment due to not having a crisis team of 3 - why on earth are you even trying to minimise crisis suit usage? They're extremely versatile and FE gives you the opportunity to spam them.
Drop a riptide and the pathfinders, maybe a couple of those BS2 drones so that you can give a riptide an ion accelerator and EWO, and fit more crisis suits in there (loaded up with plasma or fusion - don't mix on individual suits though)
You also have a stupid amount of anti-air, so you can drop a VT somewhere.
If you're running HBC riptides then you would do well to take an ECPA so he doesn't kill himself with gets hot shooting.
I'm hoping your broadsides all have HYMP?
Drop the ethereal, he will be the easiest 2 victory points your opponent has ever collected during a game - replace him with a fireblade if you need to keep HQ cheap (no extra vp given and he has a BS5 markerlight)

Why VTs on Iontides? Why no interceptor? It is an auto include on Missilesides for AA and the only reason to ever consider a VT on a Riptide (along with HBC and ECPA). Drop all the VTs from Riptides. Give them and the Broadsides all EWO. That leaves you 30 points.
Then think about finding points for an AAtide (though 2 Missileside units and some Skyrays are probably more than enough AA). You also need to find a way to add in a 3 man crusis team to make the list legal. I would consider dropping the Pathfinders they add little to this list.
Also 4 Riptides require alot of Marker Lights so not sure that just 2-3 Skyrays is enough ML support I would look into Tetras or a Mark'o.

It could probably do well, but it really depends on the format. Also, if you run into grav you're going to be SOL.
I'd stick with an ethereal, since the fireblade offers nothing except being an HQ choice. Take an ethereal and put it in one of the broadside teams. This will not only save you points and offer invocations, but it will also give both broadside teams (assuming they're near each other) ld 10, which you'll want to keep drone deaths from causing you to run.
Your FBSC riptide should have ion.
One of your Farsight riptides should have HBC, SMS, VT, EWO and earthcaste pilot array. All others should have ion, in my opinion.
You don't need that many drones in your FBSC.
The tetras aren't offering much, so I'd try to get a buff commander with DC into your 3m crisis unit and have them take marker drones.
