We have an increasingly numerous horde of orks and bits, and are headed towards a dred mob. We have two (!) stompas, including lots of forgeworld bits, and plan to use one as Buzzgob’s Kustom stompa, with lifta dropper and krusha ball. Have a bunch of Kans and are likely to end up with a couple of Deff Dreds, which we will run as troops,, with Spanna Boyz.

Meantime, we have a new Gorkanaut we picked up cheap. but we've never assembled the thing as I hate the model so much. Completely understand the benefits of the KFF etc.

So... am seriously thinking about selling the Gorkanaut and buying the Meka Dred, which of course has KFF but would have to run as an HQ. (We do have other Big meks with KFF)

Does anyone here use a Meka Dred? Comments on how they perform? Chosen weapons? Is it a waste of a HQ slot?

I know the Dredd Mob is not that competitive, but with a Kustom Stompa we reckon we'll create a bit of carnage in the process and have a laugh. Thoughts?

I'd probably wait till the new IA with renewed orkses. They'd definitely change walkers in one way or another. You'll see if dread's worth it ot not than.
But other than that...i'm not a fan of current ork walkers as they need a walker wall to function more or less properly. So, can't tell you much about naughts.
