Ok, so I'm looking to get into Tyranids and the play style I'm being drawn towards is units that infiltrate, deepstrike and fly. I'm particularly fascinated with trying to build a list that doesn't involve swarms of gribbly, foot-slogging bugs trying to make it across the table.. it just doesn't appeal to me. I am also trying to make a list that can be pretty competitive. I also really like the idea of the spore mines; units that just try to explode with reckless abandon! One of the things I'm a bit worried about though is not having reserve manipulation... but it seems like it may be pretty expensive to include that (by the time I take a defense line, or bastion, and something to man it...), so I'm not sure what to do there, if anything.

I would also probably build this in a few increments, to play at a few different point levels on the way up to 1850... so I think while there are a bunch of duplicates of things, it will help to piece together lists on the way up to my goal.

Any feedback on this list would be is greatly appreciated! Here goes...

The idea would be to infiltrate all the Lictors, Sporoysts and Genestealers. Hopefully that will give the Hive Tyrants and Hierodule a chance to start on the board and move up the field. The Mucolid Spore Clusters will deep strike later in the game, backed up by the Sporocyst spawns. Thoughts?

Relatively similar to the list that won LVO, so you have that going for you......

although prepare for people calling you out on it being just that.

Aftermath can be calculated.

If you're going to use the LVO winning list, then you have to have reserve manipulation. Period. Being able to sem-control when Lictors/Mawlocs come on as well as reserved Flyrants is key.

I updated the list to stick to my original infiltrating theme but be more unique.

Replace the Hierodule with another Flyrant and get a Bastion w/ Comms Relay, you need reserve manipulation.

Get some Mawlocs too. Two min if you're running this many Lictors.

Word, with a ton of Lictors, it seems a crime not to use lots of Deep Strikes. So spore mines, Mucolids, and Mawlocs Ho!
