My buddy just painted up a bunch of Strain and Plague models in a matching paint scheme and I think they look pretty good together.

I also painted up some Vanguard "Samaritan" troopers.

Just finished assembling all of my rebs, so there's hope for them also.

Anywho, I was wondering what folks would think about using Strain models for Plague and Vanguard for Enforcers. W hich figs would be most useful and what units they would substitute them for?
Here's the minis from the Sedition Wars boxed set.

As well as giving one's force more variety the other reason this might be appealing is that the Sedition Wars Box is less than $30 on Amazon and that includes 50 minis and scenic bases including the game stuff. Lastly, Sedition Wars figs seem to be made of the same restic material as Deadzone, so if there's anyone who would be willing to put in the effort necessary to get them cleaned and assembled it would be Deadzone fans.

I got a sealed copy of Sedition Wars for $15 for just this purpose! Haven't started using the models yet though.

Reality is a nice place to visit, but I'd hate to live there.

I think it's a great idea, if only I could get a reasonable price on SedWars on this side of the pond (we seem to pay about 2x as much for the box set as in America). Not sure about model-to-model conversion, but the Strain do seem to broadly fall into 3 sizes roughly analogous to Gen 1/2/3s. You could use a gun-carrying big one as a Mortar or something as well.

I picked up the human DZ deck from the Mars Attacks KS so I could use the Vanguard in DZ.
