So I wanted to play a new army that is competitive, uncommon in my local store, and different from my space marine and chaos space marine armies. So I'm starting daemons. I want to make a list that is full of things I like while still being competitive. So any help you guys can give me as I'm new to the daemon side of chaos would be great.

Ideally, Belakor starts flying around with Fatey and the Dp of Tzeentch while casting shrouding. 2+ jink that rerolls saving throws of 1. Maybe the screamers get in that bubble to for the same reason, or Belakor makes them invisible and I send them forward. Hounds get the grimoir to give them a 3+ invuln on a two wound model. Fatey rerolls the grimoir roll, a psychic phase dice, or if I roll a 6 or something on the warpstorm table I reroll 1 dice with staff of tomorrow or I reroll the whole thing because Fatey. Thoughts?

Herald summons. I've been told roll the daemon prince of daeon prince on biomancy but Im worried about the herald being the only summoner excluding one of fateys heads. Thoughts?

Personally I'd drop the solo grinder and add in heralds of khorne to ride with the flesh hounds. With it being your only av unit, it's going to draw the attention of all the anti tank weapons early, possibly not doing very much, if anything. Soulgrinders are great units, they just work better when taking multiples.

For some reason I thought horrors needed to roll on change.

What you are saying about the grinder does make sense. I was thinking of just putting him in a building since he is a walker and getting his good cover save. Against drop pod armies making a hound/horror wall to keep them out of melta range. But i do see where you are coming from there.

BTW, both of Fatey's heads know a Malefic power.

I wonder, can each head get summoning?

Aftermath can be calculated.
