So need some help! I am in the process of trying something new since Tau have lost some of their appeal. I wanted to run a seer council... not for all the shennigans but cause the models have some potential to really be creative and I will finally try assault and warp powers!!
I wonder how to fit in some Skyweavers to a Jetseer council.
Now I could go fluffy and not worry about short comings but my brother would curb stomp a list like this! He plays demons and is very very good. My tau gave him fits but only if I got first turn and we were playing long table deploy.
Thinking
Autrach on bike
Farseer on bike
4 Warlocks on bike
4 skyweavers
(bare with me as I can not PURCHASE the Harlequin codex yet as it is unavailable here in Columbus. THANKS GAMES WORKSHOP!)
Now rounding out
Eldar troops
2 x 5 Storm Guardians in Wave serpent
1-2 Wraith knights
Now for Harlequins.. what do I have to have?? What works best to include in this list? Trying to do all comers so I think AA will need addressed. Not sure about hordes either..... Just thinking out loud but figured I would ask the experts!!
Thank you!

Storm Guardians are 10-20 so a min squad of 5 won't work. 5 Dire avengers in serpents will work though.
As for the Harlequins, you should really find the book online or wait until you can order one. They don't work like a normal army and have quite a few weapon options. Doing a google search you can find the various formations/detachment rules for them.

Harlequins are difficult to ally with in any kind of small game.
Essentially the codex consists of a combination of things you MUST have.
It's essentially a book of formations.
The default is called the masque. At minimum you must have 3 troops, 2 fast attack, 1 heavy support. You then are allowed up to 7 additional elites.
Aside from that setup there is only one other formation that allows you to take the solitaire.
Thankfully you seem to only want skyweavers?
There is a formation in which you take 2 units of skyweavers and 1 voidweaver. As a side affect their allowed to reroll their jink saves also.
So I think this will be what your actually looking for.
Sadly with formations you have to take everything listed, no more and no less so you will have to make room for voidweaver for every 2 skyweaver units you take.

Unavailable at Columbus. Ohio? Strange. But there is the Internet and mail.
As a seer council I'd run two Jetseers and six Warlocks.
This is the normal load out.
Not sure what Harlies can add to this.

Do you mean combine skyweavers, warlocks and the IC? Cause that's a no go...
The warlocks are a unit - not IC

Warlocks can be split and permanently attached to certain units. However, that is only one Warlock per unit.

So I can not add harlies to a council? I used the autrach instead of another farseer to tank wounds.... at 1850 4 skyweavers give 8 wounds and 4 attacks each on the charge. Tobad a shadow seer can't ride a bike. I figured someone would give me some suggestions!
Thanks for any help.

I think the most you may do is attach an Autarch and a Farseer to a full unit of Skyweavers. Warlocks have a number of restrictions regarding their ability to join other units, unfortunately.

Sadly they are right about the Warlock Council, they are a little limiting in that respect for what you want to do
The Formation that gives rerolls of your jinks sound like the plan (2xStarweaver units, 1xVoidweaver Unit). Rerolling Jink makes this a really tough unit to budge
At 1850 you could try and double up the Eldar CAD, for 3 jetseers and an autarch
Wave Serpents with SL are fairly good as an anti air unit, so with 2 or more of them you don't really have to worry I think with that
If you want I could try and mock up a list, I have al the stuff with me here

Actually they're really not that good as anti air, you need at least 4+ before you can consider rolling without dedicated anti air.

If the CAD was doubled then I would suggest 4 of them...

Not necessarily, the Harlie formation would work, then with an autarch and 3 jetseers....
Would be a points sink, but 4x5 DA in serpents has its own value anyway
