I have a prototype miniature for my game that I would like professionally painted. Unfortunately my funds are low and I was hoping to make some kind of deal where the painter could keep the miniature and some money, in exchange for a few good photographs of the final paint job?

Am I asking too much?

Depends if it's a nice prototype or not?

Is this nice enough?

41mm to "eye" and 49mm from floor to top of back spines. It's supposed to be big in 30mm scale.

The final model will not be the same. After my first attempts to get these cast, it suffered from breakage around joints, and the fingers never quite worked. I'm modifying the sculpt now, but it's a shame to let this go to waste especially after I spent so much getting it made.

Doesn't grab me personally, but someone who wants to do a 'look Ma, I can blend' job on all those flat surfaces might be up for it.

Fixed that issue. Moved way to many files while reorganizing the server.

I would happily paint the mini. How would you want it painted?

Is it supposed to be a crystal construct of some kind? Or just stone?

Or something else entirely...?

What's it supposed to be? It reminds me of the Cyclops 'mech from Battletech.

Energy beings housed within dense crystalline bodies called The Sine.

This one is called a Pulsar. They're supposed to have the power of a miniaturized pulsar star within them

Nihilistic, powerful, and the only reason why the galaxy hasn't nuked itself to death. They live at the center of the galaxy and really only come out to respond to uses of astronomic scale WMDs, usually by wiping out the perpetrators.

Shiny. I'd happily have a crack at it if you haven't found a painter yet

Thanks everyone, I got a reasonable offer from an acquaintance that paints professionally.
