I imagine this has been brought up before but I don't know what the consensus is:

Sentinels of Terra rule:

"A Sentinel of Terra detachment is chosen using the army list presented in Codex: Space Marines, and uses the Chapter Tactics (Imperial Fists) special rule. It also has a series of supplemental rules that can be used in addition to the material found in Codex: Space Marines"

Pedro Kantor, though he is fluff-wise the chapter master of the Crimson Fists, has the Chapter Tactics (Imperial Fists) rule. Would it be legal to use Pedro Kantor as an HQ in a Sentinels of Terra detachment? He comes with his own warlord trait and, like Lysander, would not be able to swap it for one of the SoT ones.

Absolutely. If you look at the Chapter Tactics page of the SM codex, you'll see it says something to the effect of "Successors instead use their parent chapter's Chapter Tactics. So, an army with Ultra Marines and Sons of Orpheus* use the Ultra Marines Chapter Tactics"

*I think it was this chapter. It was an UM sucessor anyway.
