I've been thinking of expanding my exodite army but cannot find the rules for the ap values of melee weapons. does anyone know where I could find them or when forge world will update their book?
(if it doesnt exist any recomondations?)

Wow, sounds like you've missed a few editions.
If you don't have AP values in your current list your points costs will be well out of whack.
Best to get the new codex(or dark eldar or harlequins) and find the closest "counts as" for your existing models.

The AP values for basic stuff, including the different power weapons should be in the main rule book. There are pros and cons to each flavor.

What does your army consist of? You could probably do a counts-as for a lot of things. But I don’t think there are rules for exodites these days.

So I can Just substitute the weapons in the doom of mymeara to the newest made.
So would I follow the harlequins holo fields (5++) or the eldar ones (+1 cover save)?

Ah, I see. You're using the corsair army list then. I use the eldar book for the prices and options available to mine, and update all the weapon profiles to match the current options in the eldar, dark eldar, and Harlequin codecies. So, to try and answer about whether or not to use the Harlequin version of holofields, they don't give a point total for them as an upgrade, the eldar dex does, I'd side with the eldar codex. I have my personal take on a corsair update in proposed rules( I am still new enough to forums that I don't know how to link things, but its in threads I created if you click my profile).
