Subject: Repair Broken Latch on Games Workshop Case?

Has anyone ever successfully fixed a broken latch on the Games Workshop Case?
It seems one of the pins in the latch hinge has broken off. It still shuts closed, but when it's unlatched the whole latch falls off.
I have no idea how the latch was even assembled in there. Even if I had a replacement latch, there's no way to put it in there.
Any help would be appreciated.

I had that once too - lucky for me, I was in GW store, and got a free replacement case without the foam. He said that it wasn't supposed to break off.

A good point, if it's newish then swing by a GW store if you can and I'll bet the do something for you. Or you could call their Customer services and see if the can do anything.

At the very least, if you can't find a replacement, the case still works great with only one latch. I have been carrying my Lizardmen in one for about five years.

Cut the remnants of the broken pin off.
Drill a hole of the exact size as the pin straight through. Then use a flat headed bolt or screw. You'll have to figure out whether you have to glue the bolt in place or not.

Or just remove it and put a Velcro strap across it?

I'd not use Velcro, as it has a chance to get snagged and rip open.
Baggage straps would do the job better.
Or use both, to be sure
But, I'd go with the option to 'return it to a store'. Phone it through first, unless you know they have stock in to replace it with.

If you can't get the latch replaced, you can buy a metal latch from a hardware store and screw or bolt it onto the case.
