I'm buying a Talos/Cronos kit soon, and would like advice on the best body to use the left over bits on?

I'm looking at using either Canoptek wraiths (either). Using maybe a Carnifex (Talos) or Zoanthrope (cronos) kit or getting a dragon or something from WHFB. Of these which have the best chance of fitting with the talos kit without a terrible lot of modifications filing, greenstuff etc?

I assume you're going to make another Talos / Cronos and i've been looking around and the most cost effective thing would be to buy another Talos / Cronos kit.
Saying that a Carnifex conversion would be cool and I think that it would be fluff fitting as I think the Dark Eldar do perform experiments on nids.

Yes. That's my plan I would like to get as much out of one box as I can, without having a bun of bits just doing nothing and give my army a bit more of a distinctive look than just painting would

So going into it as you are, my advice would be to divy up the parts as equally as you can. It never looks good when you have one basically stock model and, say a carnifex with a few DE gribbilies slapped on the back.
For example, again carnifex, swap the bone backplate with the talos armor and vise versa. You'll get 2 models with a nice custom look that still mesh well thematically.

Ok, so don't just mash the DE bits onto the other bodies, but take say three masks, the back spines and the vials and the various weapons, throw some each onto the Zoe's mix with nid bits to get three models or four models instead of just one?

OK cool. I've never done this before so I'm just looking at stuff that seems like it'll fit. Skavin Storm Fiends seem like hey'd fun to use, and since they look to have vial bits of their own and the torsos look similar I may go with that. Thanks Guys. You've been lots of help!
