Hallo Guys,
I want to play a little tournament next weekend and looking for some kind of competitve list in this point level.
I have the following list limitation: No FW-Stuff, 2 CAD´s/ Formations.
Here is my planed List:
++ Orks: Codex (2014) (Combined Arms Detachment) (448pts) ++
+ HQ (164pts) +
Painboy
Warboss [Gift: Da Lucky Stikk ]
····'Eavy Armour [Power Klaw, Slugga]
+ Troops (70pts) +
Gretchin [10x Gretchin]
····Runtherd [Grabba stik]
Gretchin [10x Gretchin]
····Runtherd [Grabba stik]
+ Fast Attack (214pts) +
Warbikers [3x Warbiker]
····Warbiker Nob [Power Klaw]
Warbikers [3x Warbiker]
····Warbiker Nob [Power Klaw]
++ Orks: Codex (2014) (Formation Detachment) (807pts) ++
+ Formation (807pts) +
"Green Tide" (807pts)
····Warboss [Gubbinz: Big Bosspole]
········'Eavy Armour [Power Klaw, Shoota]
····Boyz (101pts)
········Boss Nob [Power Klaw , Slugga]
········10x Boy [10x Slugga]
····Boyz (101pts)
········Boss Nob [Power Klaw, Slugga]
········10x Boy [10x Slugga]
····Boyz (76pts)
········Boss Nob [Choppa, Slugga]
········10x Boy [10x Slugga]
7x 10 Boyz
So the green tide will do what a green tide is doing, kill everything in their way forward.
The 2x 4 Bikes are boosting to destroy the enemies template weapons and the gretchin hold some backfield objectives.
Nothing against flyers, i will try to ignore them.
Will it be better to make one unit of 8 Bikes or 2 units of 4?
I will face Space wolves, Dark Angels and AM.
So whats your opinion guys?

First think, you need to remove the points cost for upgrades. Forum rules I'm afraid.
Seems pretty solid, especially at this points level. Flyers won't be that bad, as you can deny them space to move.

I am torn myself as to what to do with your bikers, 2 units of 4 means 1 dead bike = Morale check. where as if you lump them both together you have to have 2 dead bikers to force the check..but at the same time its all your eggs in one basket. Personally I would probably run 1 big group and make sure to turbo boost the 1st turn to get that all important 3+ jink.

Either way, finding points for a Bosspole would be an idea for the bikes to help with the inevitable moral.

Isnt it the case that you need to lose more then 25% to force a morale check? In this case 2 Bikes have to die before they have to make a morale check in the 4 Bikes constellation.
I will try to keep them out of sight after boosting first turn.

Give the power klaw nobs free shootas and get rid of the nob that has no wargear. I would try to get a bosspole in the tide just incase it ever would come to that. I tend to put it on the painboy.
Your bike units are good.

25% or more for the check, so losing just one would do it.
What about reducing the squads to just three bikes, but taking those saved points to upgrade one boy in each mob to nob + bp?

I'd think about some Lootas for at least a little long range shooting as well as providing some antiarmor capability that isn't contingent on one of your Powerklaws getting into close combat.
I like the Powerklaws on your Warbikers for a faster way of getting something big and nasty knocked out early. I agree on the idea of making one larger or two smaller units, though, to try to mitigate the morale stuff.
Deffkoptas are cheap and a reasonably credible solution to armor as well. I like them in squads of one each.
Without more credible distraction / heavy support units, I'm afraid you're giving your opponent little else to do besides kite back into a gunline and blast away at your footsloggers. If your AM opponent brings Wyverns, watch out: each one can pull a disturbing number of Boyz off the table each turn.

Hi,
thank you all for your opinions.
Mega Armour would be nice I know but then my 103 guys can not run and that would slow them down brutally.
For this list I dont want any shooting stuff in the backfield. The 5 lootaz that i could add in here would be killed by the first drop pod that drops in my deployment zone. In my opinion, wasted points. Keep rushin forward and forget my backfield XD
After consideration of all your answers I think about to change my list in this way:
++ Orks: Codex (2014) (Combined Arms Detachment) (448pts) ++
+ HQ (169pts) +
Painboy, Bosspole
Warboss [Gift: Da Lucky Stikk ]
····'Eavy Armour [Power Klaw, shoota]
+ Troops (70pts) +
Gretchin [10x Gretchin]
····Runtherd [Grabba stik]
Gretchin [10x Gretchin]
····Runtherd [Grabba stik]
+ Fast Attack (267pts) +
Warbikers [2x Warbiker]
····Warbiker Nob [Power Klaw]
Warbikers [2x Warbiker]
····Warbiker Nob [Power Klaw]
Warbikers [2x Warbiker]
····Warbiker Nob [Power Klaw]
++ Orks: Codex (2014) (Formation Detachment) (807pts) ++
+ Formation (744pts) +
"Green Tide" (744pts)
····Warboss [Gubbinz: Big Bosspole]
········'Eavy Armour [Power Klaw, Shoota]
····Boyz (101pts)
········Boss Nob [Power Klaw , Slugga]
········10x Boy [10x Slugga]
····
9x 10 Boyz
So the changes are:
Add a bosspole to the painboy for the case my big bosspole guy die and the free shoota for warboss.
Removed 2 of the Nobz from green Tide to have the points for....
adding another warbike squad with Claw. So 3 Warbike Squads of 3 Bikes. Hell he cant kill all 3 of them before they eat some wyvern or vindicator tanks. (My Hope :-))
Alternative would be a one 5 Bikes and one 6 Bikes squads?
What do you think about this?

To be honest, i'd stick more pk in greentide instead of biker nobz. The tide without enough PK is very vulnerable. You'd run into a unit of wraiths or an imperial knight charging your flank and get stuck for the entire game.
1 unit of bikes with pk nob could do fine. But 3 guyz are not nearly as durable as we'd like them to be. To be honest, i'd probably just go with a squad of 4-5+ pk/ bp nob. This way they won't need to test ld if they loose 1 guy. The rest could be koptas if you have the models. Or another squad of bikers.
I also think that you could live without a DLS in such small games investing in something like lobbas or KMK instead. Once again, if you have the models. Don't get me wrong, DLS is good and it's a matter of preference, ofc. And DLS boss kills like 2 of them and can also tank wounds with his 4+ rerollable followed by 5+++ if you feel for it. But not like you'll need it in this case

Thanks koooaei,
the main reason i took the lucky stick is WS5 for all the boyz. When it comes to an fight against thunderwolve cavalry(and it will) then it can make a difference if he hit me on a 4+ or on a 3+.
So two 5 Bikes squads with claw and Bosspole and a second Claw in the green tide would work I think. I have the models for everything ;-)
Deffkoptas are nice but have the big problem that i cant explode any verhicle with them. I want a fast way to instakill artillery Tanks, so the bikes would do nice I think.

I deal with artillery using mine. Lobbas are fine for shutting down any av10 vehicles - wiverns, basilisks, chimeras. They also clear out any bauble wrap that'd protect the artillery from being charged in the first place.
But yep, koptas won't kill them fast enough. On the other hand, koptas are great for maelstorm and eating overwatch. Furthermore, you need just one shaken/stunned to shut down artillery for a turn. Bikers possess stronger shooting vs av10 and mellee point-to point. To be honest, i think that even without a pk you'd be able to more or less reliably deal with artillery if you manage a turn of shooting at the side. And 5 s5 attacks on the charge from a regular nob or 4 s7 attacks with a big choppa + a bunch of regular attacks will likely finish it off. Not as reliable as pk, ofc. And you wouldn't be able to multicharge as effectively. But you'd save points.

Painboy, Bosspole
Warboss [Gift: Da Lucky Stikk ]
····'Eavy Armour [Power Klaw, shoota]
2x 10 Gretchin
1x 5 Warbikes Nob with Claw and bosspole
3x KMK or 5 lobbas? 3 ammorunts and 3 additional crew
Green Tide
Warboss Big Bosspole Claw Eavy armor
8x10 Boyz
2x 10 Boyz Nob with Claw
Edit
Little update. I have won the tournament with this list.
Just ripped the face of every single player I met.
Never lost more den 30 orks from the tide.
So thumbs up for the green tide on 1250 points.
Gretchin did well,
3 kmk as single units was nice to kill some marines
Bikes got instakilled in every game :-(
Next time I will try a weird boy in the tide.
Some psi powers did crazy things to my tide.
So waaaaagh on guys

thanks.
Yes there were a few memorable moments.
One special. I dont know how this psi power is called in english but it causes a number X of S3 hits on a random allocated charakter in the target unit. Hell, and X stands for the number of modells in the unit XD
Well so one of my warbosses got over 90 S3 hits. I just removed him ^^ After this the psyker dont got a second chance do use this power ;-)
Or the fight green tide against a wolve cavalry deasthstar with lord and runepriest. After 3 turns of melee bashing i wiped him out but he killed 25 boyz. I roled really good for fnp :-)

I want to use a weirdboy in a green tide...badly, I know deep down that Deep striking them using a weirdboy is a terrible idea and will result in a LOT of dead orks, but the sheer hilarity of it makes me want to try it.
