Subject: Tyranids Zoey and Lictor: tactics and unit composition question

Good evening!
I just converted two Zoeys and two Lictors ( and 4 ripper swarm bases as well) from my 6 Deathstorm sets , and I was wondering how many zoeys and Lictors I should run per unit?
So far, I am planning to run 2 squads of Zoeys (1 each) and 1 squad of Lictors (two).
Is that cool at the 1500 to 2000 level, or do I need to do a few more conversions? Honestly, with the lictors I think two is enough (one might be enough), but I am new to Nids, so I might be looking at it wrong. But with the zoeys, I'm not sure if 1 or 2 or max 3 per unit is best. I'm concerned about making the unit too big, and attracting too much attention. I'm depending on them as a cheap synapse and firepower.
Any thoughts or advice would be greatly appreciated.

I usually run at one unit of 3 zoanthropes, so I can upgrade one to a neurothrope.
If I were to run only two zoeys, I'd have them in separate units.
I honestly never use lictors, sorry that I can't be of help with them.

Do they survive long enough to provide the synapse and firepower? I mean 3 sounds like a scary unit (of course they have 3++, so maybe I am underestimating them).
So two units of two might be viable except for not
If so, I might get started converting another zoey.
Also, where are the rules for the neurothrope? Am I just missing it in the codex?
I appreciate the advice.
EDIT: just found it.

I use mine for synapse and their lance psychic power. I usually keep them in the middle of a blob of Termagants, right next to some Venomthropes for the cover save.

A group of two Zoas has been doing very well for me. Three is a few too many points for my liking when friggin everything in the codex is 150+pts or not worth taking... If I would ever take more than two, it's to include a Neurothrope in an Offensive role with a Tyrannocyte dropped. Otherwise, two with my Warriors and their group of gribblies as spare Synapse, anti tank when the Tyrants aren't around and overall support.
Lictors are just one per brood. As small a footprint on the table as possible. Shove him inside a plant and use him as locator beacon for whatever needs to come in. The goal is to be so small a target and such a tiny priority that he minds his own business and doesn't get shot at.

Yeah, my flyrant is almost never near my blob, otherwise I'd drop the Zoeys and Neurothrope in a Tyrannocyte to pop rear armor.

Run the Lictors as squads of 1-2 for a Locator Beacon for the Mawloc, which is the unit you want doing the killing.

I like Zoeys quite a bit, I normally run them in Broods of x2, for durability, if you play in a less dangerous meta, say with lots of blocking terrain, running them "solo" should work great and maximizes the effecientcy of getting rolls, and warp charges.
If you want 3 in a Brood, then take a look at Neurothrope, I have never used one, but it does look usable.
