Original post follows:
After a slow Inquisitor event scene in 2014, an attempt is being made to launch the
2015 Inquisitor Grand Tournament.
While it originally started as a 54mm event series, we'd be very interested in having 28mm Inquisitor players along to help us turn the event into a showcase truly worthy of the name, showing the full spectrum of this game's potential both big and small.
We've already contacted Warhammer World (who, to their credit, are still quite happy to have Specialist Games along), and the dates we're currently discussing are the
23rd and 30th of May, both Saturdays.
Naturally, each scale at the event will need a minimum number of gamers in order to be viable, so if you are interested in joining us, please do register your interest (along with your possible choices of date and scale) below*! The sooner we know if we will have a 28mm side of the event, the better, as this will considerably change the amount of space we need to book.
*Even if it doesn't look like there's any other interest here! This is being discussed on several forums, so responses may be spread around a bit.

For those who aren't familiar with it, the IGT is the longest running Inquisitor event series.
Attendees mix the roles of both players pitting their characters' wits against traitor, heretic and xenos alike; and gamesmasters sadistically taking the reins of affairs that could decide the fate of billions.
The competition is pretty informal (despite its scary sounding name), with players scoring each other on their contributions to the game experience. "Winning" the event isn't about achieving your in-game objectives, but about making the best story.
There is not yet a briefing pack for this year, as the date and some format changes are still being discussed, but
the pack from last time can be found here. (But please don't use any contact details from this pack, it's not being organised by the same person this year!)
So, what's likely to change from previous years?
- The number of rounds.
There's strong talk of ditching the previous four-round format and dropping down to three rounds. The old format did ensure a maximum number of games-mastering slots, but it also made those slots tight on time. Three rounds would offer an extra half an hour per game, giving gamesmasters the option to spread their wings more and get more creative with their scenarios.
With our traditional format of three players and a GM per table we would also get the option to have (a few!) attendees who aren't confident in their GMing skills opt out.
-The cost.
It's probably going to become a free event.
As at least part of this event will be in 54mm, Games Workshop no longer having a 54mm range means the merits of the vouchers we have previously handed out as prizes may be a little slim to some of the attendees.
Instead, prizes will be kudos, a (hopefully) nice certificate and, if we have generous people along, whatever they feel like contributing to the pot!

However, these changes won't dent the fundamentals of the IGT format.
Attendees of an IGT can still expect to be witness to the highly creative scenarios, spectacular modelling projects* and on-the-fly roleplaying that the event has done so many times before - as a several time attendee (and one time winner) myself, I would recommend it to veterans or newbies alike.
