This is a follow up to my previous question about Tau Remore Stealth Drones. Now that I've established that they use the skimmer base that they come with (and are relatively small in size compared to most vehicles), are flyers able to benefit from cover granted by being obscured by terrain?

I've been told flyers cannot by word of mouth but I have not seen a rule anywhere in the BRB that states this to be the case, and with the remoras now at a height where they're much more subject to boltgun fire and having their targets obscured from line of sight I'm looking for an upside too. They aren't zooming, and do have hover mode if that has any impact upon the answer. My own investigation so far leads me to believe that with everything being TLOS if 25% of the model is obscured by terrain it gets a cover save whether it's flyer or not and regardless of whether it is flying or hovering.

Yes. There are rules for vehicles getting cover from terrain. There are no rules exempting Flyers from this.
Anyone claiming otherwise needs to provide a rule.

This is correct, but 25% obscurement by intervening models will also provide a cover save.

Flyers gain cover the same way as any other vehicle. if they're 25% obscured they get the save.

Flyers on flyer stands may find it more difficult to get cover but they can still benefit if they're able to get 25% blockage.
