Bit late for the BPL season but eh.

So I saw a NHL thread and if Ice Hockey is covered (go Canucks) then there should be a thread for Football, any league, any team, just discuss. Complain, commend, whatever.

So, uh. Liverpool.

Only unbeaten team in the BPL in 2015, how's that?

Well, with Northampton still sitting on top of the Aviva Premiership, I think they look good to continue their success.

Surprisingly, in New Zealand, the Chiefs are sitting on top of their division, with the "mighty" Crusaders sitting in 4th

Ireland are looking quite stellar in the 6 Nations, and I kind of expect that form to continue on through the World Cup later this year

Think Ireland can win the grand slam this year? Wales away is a tough test.

I hope Wales win, but I am a little bit biased.

As for Football, I'm quite happy that Swansea (my home town) are doing so well, getting the double over Man United is no easy feat, even with their sup-par form.

Yeah, Wales is usually a tough go, but I think that with the form Ireland is in (even with no BOD) right now, just about the only folks who I would say would beat them is the All Blacks.

To be on topic, when I still had a FIFA game on my playstation, my player played for Arsenal... not knowing anything really else about the sport, I kinda like their unis, and hope they do well (how are they doing really? A buddy of mine from the UK informed me that they "always come in 4th", lol)

Speaking as a Blackburn Rovers fan (sorry to drag this away back to football), I'm a happy bunny with the result against Liverpool. Taking them back to Ewood Park gives us a chance to get to the Semi-Finals of the FA Cup. And in a bereft season this year, that's a bonus. Winning the Fa Cup and playing in Europe again? I'll take that over promotion this year. We are no where near ready to go up, what with the FFP rules hitting us hard

Aberdeen here, mon the sheep-interferers. Sad that we lost to Celtic the other day but on the plus side they then went on to lose their next game and so did everyone else around us.

Still hopeful that we at least nip at their heels for the rest of the season. Would be a dream come true if they squander points and we can catch them up again and go past them on the last game.

Ha! 4th is about right. Normally behind Chelsea, Manchester United and Manchester City, in no particular order.. However Arsenal did just beat Manchester United in the quarter finals of the FA Cup, with a former Manchester United striker scoring the winning goal. Ouch.
