Funny how sometimes I buy a model and I'm all psyked when I buy it but then months drag on wtihout doing anything.

And with these crummy little $8 tanks I'm all over them.

Maybe I'll be more.

And then let months drag on without doing anything.

Really good work with those! I realize you said terrain, but It looks to me like you've got a pretty cool hellhound there.

Not a Chimera, but in my initial review I did side and footprint comparisons with a Leman Russ

Eagle one as a Tank carrier? Brilliant!

Nice selection of old Grenadier sculpts. The Scavenger figures were some of the first non-GW figs I painted. Really nice stuff.

I like that shuttle ALOT.

I do think it needs some plating or something over the cockpit window area. That front indention is one of the most recognizable elements tying it to ST. The other item that would be good to mod or drop might be the Warp naceles. Without the transparent front caps of the Naceles and with a modified cockpit it greatly reduces the ST'ness of it.

Cargo Crates are pretty cool. Some kind of landing gear in place of the Warp Nacelles maybe?

Looking forward to seeing how this turns out. I've been tempted by that kit many times over the years.

I think you saw these years ago, but maybe you'd find some inspiration for bashing spaceships here:

DRD has a cheap 3 pack of dishes.

For the same price they also sell a 1-pack with stand.

That raider is really cool. Reminds me of a gunship. Looking forward to seeing how this progresses.

My last major terrain project was a spaceport commission but I didn't take enough pics. Kicking myself now...

Nice progress on the port. Those Unity signs are fantastic. I've been OD'ing on Conspirituality and Cult podcasts so this sort of gaming crossover is weird but great.

Nice troopers and Intersting use of the Chinook. My son has a metal 1/60 Chinook that I may steal someday....

I don't recall if we have discussed this on the toys thread, but Lanard is at some point going to release their Sci-Fi adaptation of their own chinook-like "The Corps" helicopter. They basically capped off the rotors and added a bunch of sci-fi stuff while not changing the fuselage at all. After and Before....

Oh I remember the Space Chinook, as far as I can tell it came out in Australia, maybe other markets but not the US.

There's plenty of other GI Joe sized Chinooky things out there to try and make a shuttle from, but this one was meant to be small enough to fit on a table. I might pick up another one or two.

Over Christmas Break I have to do some family photos of the space port, I can field over a dozen ships now.

Yeah, yours is much more practical. Looking forward to the family photos. I'm also working toward a spaceport of ships as an objective in next year's convention Mech Attack games.

Very nice.
I love that you left space for a landing craft. Gotta get some use out of all those spacecraft you have!

Is the Birthday Baneblade a thing? Or did I just make up that tradition?

I'm sure it's a thing and you must!
