Does anyone know of the perfect miniature or a company that makes a miniature that can substitute for Alpharius.

If anyone knows of any parts to use as conversions that would help out too

Depends on what army you'll be using him in. If it's an Alpha Legion CSM army? Just any regular Tac Marine painted in Alpha Legion colors. If they're pretending to be a UM Successor? Then any Space Marine in the appropriate colors.

That's the thing about Alpharius. He doesn't stand out or draw attention to himself.

I'm considering a 30k Army.

Then he's going to look like every other Alpha Legion soldier present. That's the thing with the Alpha Legion, they all look and dress exactly alike, so you can't tell which is which or who is who... and they're all named Alpharius. Even the dog.

Maybe you should wait for Forgeworld to release him? I know it could be quite a wait, but all the Primarch models look amazing.

Otherwise, what has been suggested above, or is this more what you're looking for? Pricy, but gorgeous.

I've always wanted to do an Alpha Legion army composed entirely of identical marines, all in the same pose where possible.

There's only rules for Alpharius.

I'd just wait til they release him, personally. He's probably gonna be an excellent model and it shouldn't be tooooo long.

At this stage any suitably dynamic praetor conversion would do.

There is Kabukis Hydra Knight, which is nice, but for the cost I'd hold out for a forge world version.

Pricey, but still roughly half of the cost of the FW ones! I know which I'd pick!

I would pick the FW one.. The other one is nice and all, but doesn't really fit the aesthetic of the others. Unless I don't actually like FWs Alpharius I'd go with the Forge World one.

Don't get me wrong, the FW ones are all fantastic! But when it comes down to it, I'd rather have 1 9/10 Kabuki model and a box of other minis than a 10/10 FW one and nothing else.

If money is no object, then FW all the way, but when it is a concern, I don't think the FW ones are nice enough (relative to the cost) to be worth twice as much. But them, I'm a complete cheapskate when it comes to this kind of thing, even the Kabuki model is way past the upper end of what I would spend on a single mini.

Haha, that's fair enough! I should really have that logic, I have far too expensive tastes for a 19 year old with a part time job...

Pick some random SM. Make it say, I am Alpharius, then take the entire Tac Squad and make them Alpha Legion Colors. Ten Alpharius models. As is per Alpha Legion Tradition.

Omegon: Use Sheed Ranko's model

YEAH same here. I would wait for FW to make one personally. I have Asterion Moloc in the mail. Have decided on Tartaros termies instead of GWs ones. And their transport will be a Spartan assault transport.
