I have limited space and for right now I am working off the dinning room table and the wife does not like me leaving my stuff there when I am not working on it, I know GW sells one and so does a couple other companies but I would much rather build one. I like building things rather then spending money, I am looking for ideas, let me see what you guys use as a mobile workstation. Thank you in advance guys.

The hobbyzone stuff is great, I have a bunch of it. But the shipping from Poland to north america is killer.

Though not mobile, you could always get your self a nice secretary desk that you can close up.

it doesn't look bad if its a nice piece of furniture.

If you are going to do some nice wood working, honestly a decent work station is just a box with some shelves and component boxes to keep things organized.

Perhaps a jelly jar with a lid for a water pot.

ey cabron, how about you add a link!

Given the link, they don't actually exist.

holy crap... that looks awesome

Frankly, if it did exist, it would be a steal at 305 Euro.

I haven't figured out exactly how those Vallejo, Tamiya and GW paints actually stay in place with those arms, though. The plastic (acrylic?) arms holding up the paint bottles look a little magical to me. But boy would I love them haha. I would use them on my hobby tables, if they actually worked.

I think they snap in around the neck (at least the Vallejo ones) - the citadel ones seem to use black magic. The Vallejo liquid gold ones use a special thing called 'marketing' to stay there

Where did you see the price of 305 euros? I'd be pretty tempted too, even though I don't need one in the slightest.

@kb_lock -- to the bottom and right of the pullout tool trays, just below the encircled "6", it reads, MT 02 Desde 305.60 E*

And yeah, the regular Vallejo bottles look like the *might* work (though I'm still not convinced the bottles wouldn't fall out the first time you set it on its side and stood it back up). It doth appear to be wizardry of the highest order, though!

The lamp on MT02 is a nice touch too

I bought myself one of these way back in July last year...

I heard they are taking pre-orders for them currently.

I like that its a nice solid wood design.

Well, that wasn't very nice was it, the only translation I find on the word "cabron" is not very civilized.

However, I am still thinking of building something similar.

I have always thought that a small electric motor running a belt that the bottles sat on would be good during storage. Something that would kind of agitate the sediment by rolling three rolls one direction or the other every hour on the hour... or similar.

That way when you're done painting and may not be back for a week or so the lesser used paints don't end up with a 'holy crap, how long do I have to mix this' kind of sediment!

I'm inspired to design and build something now...

$22 jigsaw and a $5 clamp makes a great paint shaker.
