Looking too build a new army after my last one got lost in transportation. Always wanted to do a fast melee list. I played Orks back in 3rd, and did a mass mob army. Now I want to try a mounted one! I really have no idea what I am doing with 7th ed Orks.

I think you need a bigger bike squad for your warboss to be in. I think a painboy on bike could also be a worthwhile investment alzo.
Red on Trukks really isn't worth it.
The kanz were made more expensive to encourage us to take the upgrades, which are cheaper, get some.
The meganobz trukk does not need the upgrades it will be shot first as is.. also split those meganobz in half and make them two squads and get another trukk.
My thoughts.
EDIT; plane starts in reserve and your list is already designed to be in CC that turn, not soo sure how much it will be helpful.

The Kans being slow was my concern. I'll remove the Kans and throw in more bikes. Will also split up the mega nobz. I honestly didn't think about the fact the plane arrives turn 2. Great point! After your changes, you might consider going with 15 Warbikes in one squad with the painboy and warboss in the same squad. Mob Rule is also a bit more helpful if you can get over ten bodies.
I never run them but I believe Warbuggies can take rokkitz and you may want them. Warbuggies are already the same AV as your more valueable transport targets and likely won't draw soo much fire so, also they are very mobile and are capable of side and rear armor shots on vehicles.
I think the points spent on the klaw on the two trukks with meganobz will just help cement he idea that they will be shot first.
If you have the flexibility to do it you might consider a Big Mek on Bike with KFF to offer saves to nearby trukks. You have the troop choices to run 2 Detachments to have a 3rd HQ.
EDIT, on trukks, the ram is still a must have. The klaw and plank and red is not.

The buggies have Rokkits, I am using army builder and it's not being displayed in the text for some reason. I will drop the filler Stormboyz, add rams, and see about readjusting points for 3rd hq. I was wary on making the one big squad of bikes with two hqs, as it might become a huge priority kill for my opponents. I do like the idea of a larger mob of bikes, though.

If I was making your army I would want that bike squad so big that they don't want to shoot any of my trukks because they need to shoot the bikes.

agreed, the issue with only taking one is you leave another exposed, and i tend to get OCD of symmetry.
i guess with such numbers FNP isn't essential and 2 KFF's would be brutal considering the rest of it.
evrything is going to be in range to charge turn 2, all at the same time.

the only thing i would consider is swapping one warbosses PK for Eadwhoppa's Killchoppa.
its brilliant and when combined with the luyck stikk and an attack squig, he will statistically kill a wraith knight every turn thanks to rerolls and any 6 to wound causes instant death.

Um. With DLS you really dont need the Attack Squig. Since they do the exact same thing, but DLS is far superior.

Thanks, was asleep lol. I threw in the squig because of the assumption I would be using lucky stick for saving rolls, as opposed to attack/wounds.
