Hey guys,

Wanted to try something a little different with my Harlequins, and thus went back to one of my favourite techniques of painting starry nebula-like patterns.

The Masque of the Nova's Heart are among the brightest of Harlequin troupes, constantly in states of explosive action and always accompanied by magnificent pyro-technic displays.

The Players in this troupe dance to celebrate the lives of the stars themselves, but also to mourn their deaths. Their less-than-subtle dances also touch upon ideas of life from death, victory from defeat, and most importantly, light from the darkness.

Members of this Masque are often seen performing alongside Wraith constructs, or in places where martyrs of the Eldar have died. They bear a particularly bitter hatred to the Necrons, who once idolized hungry gods capable of extinguishing the stars themselves.

Not happy at all with how the Shadowseer's grenade pack turned out (especially not the admittedly lazy OSL) but I'm fairly pleased with how they've turned out in general. Let me know what ya think!

They look good from that distance, but is it possible to get some closer shots? Maybe with a white background?

Cheers man, and yeah, normally I would use a better backdrop, but light was going down quick and I was in a bit of a rush!
Zooming in through the gallery makes things a lot clearer, I reckon.
