So this is both a modelling.and a.fluff question.

We know the masks that harlequins wear are representative of different characters in eldar folklore. Do we know specifically which mask matches up to which character? Is there a pdf somewhere with a picture of the mask and the name of the respective character? Preferably with a little detail on who that character is / what they did?

Not to my knowledge. (Other than the Solitaire, whose mask represents Slaanesh.)

I think maybe the huge grinny troupe master is supposed to be Eldranesh, the epic quasi-deity of Eldar myth.

I thought the troupe master is representative of Ceogorath (or however that goes).

edit- Yeah, thats what he is. In the Dance Without End, the troupe master and the solitaire have a long fight/dance, representing the struggle between Slaanesh and Ceogorath.

Death Jester represents Yydrasil? Not sure on the spelling but yeah, the Eldar god of death. How fitting. lol

Are harlequins actually harlequins? Unless the dictionary has changed, sanguine relates to laughs and jokes and such, and with BA using sanguine things of randomness (I know they do have sanguine stuff though) we should be staring at blood angles plaintively.

It also refers to blood which was called the Sanguine Humor and was linked to Happiness and laughter.

I'm not so sure about this, as Ynnead has yet to be "born". He'd, imo, more be classed as a child of the Eldar, as without them he cannot be. Much in the same way that we wouldn't have the eldar race without Isha and Kurnous.

I don't know if I'm right to say this, but I'd expect him to be more a "Demi God" of necromancy than actually of death itself, as he only represents the return from death, or rebirth.

Separately, as a result of this thread, I'm researching the eldar god family tree. Can you guys shed any light on the subject not covered by lexicanum etc? Ie, codex info not picked up on in detail?
