hello! He're is the current army I plan to bring to a local tourney put on via my local gaming group. We have roughly 18 players, and decided to do a tourney over the course of the next Month. Some of the players play cheesy, but not all. I'm not looking to fully optimize my list to an lvo status or anything, however critisism, ideas, etc is much appreciated! My list is currently

Nemesis strike force
Librarian ml 3 hammer
Librarian ml 3
Kaldor draigo
paladins x5 - x3 halberd, psycannon, apothecary
paladins x5 - x3 halberd, psycannon, apothecary
terminators x10 - justicar w/ falchions, x7 falchions, hammer, psycannon
terminators x10 - justicar w/ sword, x7 sword, hammer, psycannon
Interceptor x5 - x4 falcion, hammer
dreadknight - teleporter, incinerator, psycannon
dreadknighT - teleporter, incinerator, psycannon

Draigo and libby go with one paladin squad to form a powerful threatening unit, while the libby with the hammer goes with the other paladin squad to form a still deadly unit. Trying to not put all eggs in the same basket here. Yes it will suck if draigo n his unit die, but having another paladin squad and a libby in it means there are two different major threats to deal with. Hopefully most of my units come on turn one. Dread knights shunt towards major threats, interceptors towards objectives or weaker threats.

Interesting. If the Librarians get Sanctuary that will help the survivability of those Paladins, increasing their value. Draigo could be put up front for a 2++ Invulnerable save. Your list doesn't really have any anti-air, as if you use the Psycannons, you're wasting the rest of the unit's shots.

This is my personal preference, but I'd take Terminators instead of Paladins, as it lets you put more units on the table, which equates to more shooting, and more close combat attacks available, and makes the enemy's Instant Death obsolete except for the Librarians. The points you'd save could get you a Comms Relay to improve your chances of coming in on turn 1. You'd just need to park a unit next to it to get the bonus for the first turn.

Also, if your Librarians get Gate of Infinity, they can be put on separate units so you have up to 3 Terminator squads shunting around the board along with the Dreadknights. And with Combat Squading you could put both Psycannons in the same unit so half of your Terminators arrive front line to attack, and the others aren't wasting an extra Storm Bolter if they shoot at enemy heavy armor.

145 Librarian: L3, Hammer
135 Librarian: L3
145 Draigo
390 Terminators: +5, 2 Hammers, 2 Psycannons
390 Terminators: +5, 2 Hammers, 2 Psycannons
390 Terminators: +5, 2 Hammers, 2 Psycannons
215 Dreadknight: Teleporter, Incinerator, Psycannon
215 Dreadknight: Teleporter, Incinerator, Psycannon

This brings the list to 2025pts, without the Interceptors. leaving 475pts left over to improve your Deep Strike odds. Some ideas for filling those points:

390 Terminators: +5, 2 Hammers, 2 Psycannons
Fortification
70 Aegis Defense Line: Comms Relay
+15pts for other upgrades

(one unit can hold the Comms Relay for a +1 for turn 1 DS, then shunt into the fight on that same first turn.)

Or

110 Strike Squad
145 Interceptor Squad: Hammer, Incinerator
Fortification:
220 Firestorm Redoubt: Comms Relay

(The Strike Squad holds the Redoubt, Comms Relay, and an objective, all from inside the safety of the structure)

Or

130 Interceptor Squad
Fortification
220 Firestorm Redoubt: Comms Relay
Allied Detachment (Astra Militarum)
65 Lord Commissar
60 Veteran Squad

(attach the Lord Commissar to the Veteran Squad inside the Redoubt, and they can hold the Comms Relay for a +1 on reserves, an objective, and keep the two Quad Icarus Lascannons secured.)

Or

Fortification
70 Aegis Defense Line: Comms Relay
Allied Detachment (Astra Militarum)
200 Company Command Squad: Master of Ordnance, Officer of the Fleet, Heavy Weapons Team (Lascannon), Chimera w/ Camo Netting
195 Veterans: Missile Launcher (+Flak) Heavy Weapons Team, Forward Sentries
+10pts for misc. upgrades

(This one nets you a +2 for your Reserves. The Command Squad can fire Ordnance and a Lascannon out of the Chimera for support, and the Chimera benefits from a 3+ cover save. Similarly the Veterans offer a bit of anti-air, as well as additional ranged suport with their Missile Launcher, and likewise have a 3+ cover save. Each of these units could be holding objectives on your back line while everything else jumps into the enemy's face.)
