Ok so here is a list I was hoping to try this weekend at the hobby shop. What do you think? I feel that demons tend to suffer vs armor, but this list has some armor bombs. Melta screamers obv, the drones always glance on 6's and have instant death. The hounds on the charge s5 with kill most vehicles with 10 or 11 rear armor.

I feel a lot of enemy flyers may be an issue but I don't know what else to do on that. 3 hive tyrants would be rough...

Kairos 300

Hotz, disk, lvl 3, greater reward 150
Hotz, disk, lvl 3 120
HoK, Loci of wrath, juggernaut, lesser reward (instant death sword), greater reward 155

Pink Horrors (11) 99
Pink Horrors (11) 99

Flesh Hounds (20) 320
Screamers (9) 225
Plague Drones (6), plaguebringer, venom sting 287

Yes, its competitive. Its a relatively standard list. Some opt to cut down the plaguedrones and swap a horror squad for some nurglings and use the points to bring Be'lakor.

He has a good cover save like the drones, is a combat badass, and has the added benefit of giving the screamers shrouding for a rerollable 2++ if the book fails, as well as giving the hounds invis.

Aftermath can be calculated.

How is he giving them the 2++? He joins them and then they enter a ruin?

No, screamers have jink which is a 4+ cover save. Be'lakor knows all of Telepathy which has shrouding. Be'lakor gives the screamers shrouding giving them +2 cover save, meaning a 2+ cover save, which they reroll ones of.

Aftermath can be calculated.

Belakor + screamers is wonderfully broken. I am not exaggerating when I say that a unit of 9 invisible, shrouded screamers took out the majority of a Tau missile spam army in 4 rounds at the Redstone Rumble last year.

I would drop the drones, HoK, and enough hounds for belakor and some cutilsts (extra HoT are a plus). Drones are best when summoned. And the hounds are a LOT more durable when invisible.

Based on some of the replies so far, 2 good lists to look at are pure Screamerstar and triple deathstar. Examples of each are given below:

Screamerstar

Fateweaver 300pts
Tzeentch Herald, Lv3, Disc and Exalted Reward (Grimoire) 150pts
Tzeentch Herald, Lv3, Disc and Greater Reward (Greater Etherblade) 140pts
Tzeentch Herald, Lv3 and Disc 120pts
Tzeentch Herald, Lv3 and Disc 120pts

3 Nurglings 45pts
11 Horrors 99pts

8 Screamers 200pts
8 Screamers 200pts

Be'lakor 350pts

10 Cultists 50pts

Bastion 75pts

Triple Deathstar

Fateweaver 300pts
Tzeentch Herald, Lv3, Disc and Exalted Reward (Grimoire) 150pts
Tzeentch Herald, Lv3 and Disc 120pts
Nurgle Herald, Lv2, Fecundity locus (FnP) and Greater Reward (Balesword) 140pts
Khorne Herald, Wrath Locus (Hatred), Juggernaut and Lesser Reward (Axe of Khorne) 135pts

11 Horrors 99pts
11 Horrors 99pts

8 Screamers 200pts
7 Plague Drones, Plaguebringer with Greater Reward (Balesword) 319pts
18 Flesh Hounds 288pts

Each list has got upgrades to my preferences and can be changed, hopefully these help.

Whaats the point of the Nurgle herald in the last list? Doesn't he just fall far behind the drones?

Yes he does fall back slightly, but drones aren't the quickest unit. The FnP locus makes them stupidly resilient, meaning that even though they are slightly slower than the other 2 deathstars they can take way more punishment (not including 2++ re-rollable). He also provides more warp charge and more instant death attacks (balesword) which is great for taking out wraithknights He does work in the unit, If you want to include drones, then the nurgle herald is a must.

Has anyone considered taking a slannesh star? I know their herald phychics aren't good cause they can't take lvl3 psykers but idk 20 Calvary that can move very fast, rending and have high initiative could be a pain for the enemy but then again they're squishy and need to be buffed with invis cause without any jink and stuff, T3 is brutally easy to take out. They're quite cheap too. Food for thought

They just don't do anything better then the other stars. They aren't the fastest because of screamers. They are the most fragile by far while also being very susceptible to dangerous terrain which means you have to spend more points into them to make them a death star. And while they have solid damage output it's completely depending on rolling the 6's to rend so isn't that reliable.
