Hey guys, got a tourney coming up towards the end of the year and was thinking about taking my de as there are never very many de players there so most players tailor their lists towards marines/nids/tau/Eldar.

Criticisms?

I know it's extremely Msu and most squads only have 1 role but does it have enough of a chance or am I better drop back to my usual tac list and playing safe?

I assume the Arena Champ is in there to give you a Character to be you Warlord? If this is the case, I recommend dropping the Champ and giving the Sybarite upgrade to the unit of Warriors without the Blaster.

I realize that Warriors are much less durable than Reavers, but by putting your WL in the Reavers, you have to be less aggressive with them. Reavers that cant be aggressive are a waste of points.

By having a Sybarite WL, you can hide him and his unit (i.e start them in Reserves) and better deny you opponent fro getting Slay the WL. When they arrive, walk them in somewhere safe and out of LOS.

I also think Razorwings are much better than VoidRavens. I'd try to make that happen. Otherwise you are on the right track for a well balanced MSU DE list

I would drop the champion any way as he is really unnecessary unless you are using him for the Ld. You don't need a character to be your warlord, if you have no character you must nominate any model to be your warlord. Even a vehicle, no restrictions. First paragraph of the warlord section.

But looking at your list I can't think of anywhere else I would put your left over 13 points. So it looks pretty solid.

I know you don't need a character model, but I would prefer to have warlord traits tbh. Having no access to them isn't preferable to me. I agree with the sybarite, probably better to do t that way, and 9 times out of 10 I do pick razorwing a over bombs, they are cheaper and do the same thing. Only reason this time I have picked the bomber is because I can only afford 1 flyer and I'd rather have 2 str9 lances for AA and a large ap2 blast than just 2 str8 lances and some anti horde bombs. I have enough poison/reaver combat attacks for hordes. Is my logic sound or am I going off track?
