Hello, i have been trying to make my own 5-man mk2 space marine squad and a 5 man mk4 squad as well but i am having some trouble in making my own torsos and legs (especially the mk2 but i am ok at the mk4 ones) with greenstuff, i have seen one really good tutorial but i was wondering if you had any links to other tutorials or tips on how to make your own (i am not keen to buy forge world ones). i have enough heads and legs (for the mk4) but i need the torsos, legs, arms and the heads for the mk2. thanks guys

p.s. i was warned by a dakka official and what i mean by 'make my own legs out of green stuff' is converting mk6 and mk7 legs, my lost thread like this was locked up

I've seen people take chaos space marine kits and remove all chaos iconography from them to use them as alternative legs.

I've used chaos marine and other MK VI legs pretty liberally around in my army so far. I had the DG upgrade parts and a lot of chaos marine parts on hand that fit the bill. Lots of filing to get the chaos off but it looks good.

thanks, yeah i have seen that tutorial and it is really useful, i have just started making my own mk2 space marine legs for my own 'armour through the ages' set. i am going to get a set of chaos and sand of the icons and use them i think. thanks guys
