So I have the Firebase Formation, which includes 2 units of 3 Broadsides.

Everyone has missiles, as well as EWOs.
However, I'm wondering whether I should give one 'side in each unit a Target Lock....

If one model per unit had Target Lock, this would effectively give me 3 units of 2 'sides in the Shooting phase, rather than 2 units of 3. Since all those missiles are occasionally a bit overkill, having the possibility to split my shooting would be an advantage.
And if a salvo from one whole unit didn't kill something, I could contribute one Broadside from the other unit to finish it off.
Thoughts?

I run it 2x EWO, 1x TL for that reason
