Subject: Anyone else using GW paints for their Bolt Action vehicles?

I'm now starting to paint some of my newly-acquired 1/56 vehicles. I have a large stock of GW paints, and I find them very easy to use. I don't have an airbrush any more, so I'm not going to buy Vallejo.
So I'm trying to replicate the appropriate colours for WW2 armour. GW paints are probably going to be a bit bright for WW2 military vehicles, but I'll dull them down with washes. It's getting the shade right that's the issue. Balor Brown seems to work as German dark yellow. Panzer Grey is a bit trickier; Dark Reaper seems right, but looks a bit too blue. Anyone else using GW paints, and if so, what are you using?

Looking at some other suggestions, I've seen Zamesi Desert recommended as a decent German Late War dark-yellow. And Deathworld Forest might make a good olive drab. I'd recommended using a good brown wash on both.

Okay, after some trial and error (and consulting the colour charts in Tomas Chory's book on Wehrmacht colours), I've got a good match for two basic German colours.
German grey: Stegadon Scale Green mixed with Skrag Brown - about 70:30
Dark yellow: Balor Brown mixed with Caledor Sky - about 80:20.
Next I need to match olive drab. The colour samples I have make it look very brown, but it's almost invariably represented as green on models.

I know some over on theminiaturespage (not a place reknowned for its GW fanboyism) used to insist that the old GW Catachan Green was a better match for British SCC15 than the Vallejo Russian Uniform a lot of places recommend, tho I don't know how close the replacement colour is.

I based my Sherman with castellan green followed by a quick drybrush of death world forest. Leadbelcher on the treads with a layer of ryza rust and a drybrush of Ironbreaker leads to a good looking effect.
I agree with Citadel paints running on the brighter end of things, but I think that got toned down with the new line. A lot.
