I currently do not have an adequate painting area, and my only space shares my computer and graphic's tablet (which is even more important than the computer, really).
So, when I want to paint, I need to put up the Tablet, close the computer, cover the keyboard, and move the monitors it of the way to move the lights into place.
I am getting new lights (a strip LED light, a magnifying lamp, and two clamp mounted crane lights to mount to the shelves above my computer).
So. . . . I have the lighting problems basically solved (or will do as soon as eBay delivers).
The problem is the miniatures.
I am pretty much limited to just one thing at a time, which is not terrible.
But there are times (like right now) where I am stuck on being able to work on what I have been working on, due to having to wait to go get my epoxy resins (Milliput, green/blue/red-stuff, and some other stuff that is sort of like a cross between Milliput and green stuff, only it is grey - it's in a big tub), so that I can do a conversion for a Great-Goblin Sub-General (Thunderbolt Mountain only does one leader figure. I need two or three).
And, during this gap (I am getting to the point/question), I would REALLY like to be able to work on my Rohirrim, Easterlings, or Gondorians.
But that would require packing up all of my Goblins, unpacking the Rohirrim (Easterlings or Gondorians), and moving them to the desk.
Here is the question:
Is there any way to speed the packing/unpacking process, or of storing the minis such that they are more readily moved to the painting table?
MB Automatically Appended Next Post: P.S.
Or, to work on some of my WWII miniatures, or the 6mm Epic Tau stuff I have piled up (I have probably a Battalion worth of Tau Infantry - if the platoons are small).
But working on any of it requires solving the above problem.
