Still thinking/tinkering about what army I'd like to go with (imp'fists and 'nids are my old armies, so want something different) to get back into the 40k. been looking at tau and necrons and now took a gander at eldar. trying to make use of battleforce boxes and/or army bundles to min/max purchase and cash spent...

Seems pretty straight forward as to what the units will do. I'd keep the vypers close to the wave serpents and help support them.

I could as an alternative drop the vypers and wrathknight to get back 420 points that would allow me to do the following:
190 - take a 2nd full unit of warp spiders
150 - take a 3rd fire prism w/ same options
60 - take a minimal squad of rangers to park on some rear objective
20 - upgrade the scatter laser platforms to eldar missiles platforms

Anyways just some initial thinking and pondering and tinkering with at the moment after reading tactica forums and whatnot. any suggestions tips pointers advice constructive criticism etc is always welcome.

Well, not bad.
The two large Jetbike units are questionable.
Too large footprint. I'd take units of three or six.
The Vypers are too expensive since they easily die from bolter fire.

yeah the vypers are weak but they came with the battleforce box hehe. oh well no worries... I took all the jetbike units out and shuffled things around for a ulthwe list...

nothing is set in stone by any means.

Would love to see peoples faces cringe when I drop a level 4 psyker, a level 3 psyker, and a level 1 psyker on the map hehe.

Then they pull out deamons, Greynights, or psyker heavy nids and laugh at your puny 7 dice.

As for your list, I don't like scatter lasers for the guardian platforms, and I would suggest Star Cannons for guaranteed AP2 because you have plenty of shots else where. Also because Eldar can't cast powers while in vehicles I suggest taking one unit of guardian defenders and wave serpent and changing them to a 20 blob unit of Storm guardians with 2 flamers and 2 PW. Depending on where you put your psykers the SG can to quite well just walking up the field, with conceal from the warlock and hopefully some fortune/doom from a farseer. Also you would save points doing this and could then either upgrade the FD or the Warp Spiders with an exarch and their cool stuff.
