Orikanstar has been on my mind quite a bit lately. Probably because it's awesome.

CAD
Orikan the Diviner
Varguard Obyron

Lychguard w/ Shields x10

Warriors x10
Warriors x10
Gauss Immortals x5
Gauss Immortals x5
Tesla Immortals x5
Tesla Immortals x5

Destroyer Cult
Destroyer Lord (Voidreaper, Phase Shifter)
Heavy Destroyers x3
Destroyers x3 (one Heavy)
Destroyers x3 (one Heavy)
Destroyers x3 (one Heavy)

Destroyer Cult brings the big guns and MSU. Warriors/Immortals create bricks of bodies that are difficult to chew through and put out lots of shots. And the DLord/Obyron/Orikan/Lychguard star is all but unkillable. Put Obyron out front for a 2+ rerollable against non AP2 weaponry, elsewise have Lychguard with a 3++ rerolling 1s and a 4+ RP.

It's a very straightforward list. Silver Tide with lots of ObSec and an extremely durable Deathstar that can provide cover to lots of units by being an anti-charge deterrent and general wall of bodies.

The list lacks a lot of movement, meaning it will have to basically only play midfield and backline, but it's also fairly durable (being Necrons, after all) and has a lot of firepower, especially once things start getting into rapid fire range. Obyron's Mantle can possibly be used to Deep Strike towards gunline armies, providing a sudden surprise, but that's fairly risky.

Edit: Of course, I could put the Immortals into 2 units of 10 rather than 4 units of 5, but that's a difference of more ObSec field coverage vs harder to kill units.

Minimum sized units = bricks of bodies to chew through?

All of the things. Most of the time.

You're playing a CAD but still taking the tax of 20 Warriors like you're in a Decurion. I'd drop the Warriors and at least trade them up for Flayed Ones if not remove them altogether for Wraiths. For 260 points I could think of many things that would work better for this army...

2x Stalkers
6x Wraiths w/ coils
20x Flayed Ones to create a secondary deathstar with the Destroyer Lord
2x Heavy Ds and a Stalker

Imho, I would improve this list by adding NS to transport that deathstar, for the star itself I would recommend someone in that blob to take solar staff, force enemy to fire snap shot at them for a turn which will buy you time to make the charge.

Secondly better adding ghost arks to Necron Warriors to make them even more resilient, the ghost ark also have good fire power to add.

Moreover, take a Stalker to TL Heavy Gauss Cannon to fire alongside your Hevay Destoryer

Immortals are resilient, but I was more talking about sheer numbers. There's 40 troops to chew through, all with RP. That's going to take some time to drop.

And, as I said, I might run the Immortals as units of 10, which makes them quite difficult to remove.

Having bricks of Warriors also brings a lot more RoF shooting, something that the Destroyer Cult needs since Destroyers are low rate, good AP shooting. I don't know if just 20 Immortals can do that by themselves, as that's 20-40 less shots per turn, and Gauss at that for removing those pesky Knights.

I love this "Star" because it's not fearless.

If anything is able to beat you in combat, be it an invisible wraithknight or something as resilient, you're very likely to get swept. Consider taking Zandy as well. Having a 2+ save base is great with Orikan and his base warlord trait is Zealot.
