Drop the sniper rifles On the scouts.... They don't work anymore... And drop to one unit of scouts because it's an allied detachment anyways and you only need one....

You're spebding too many points on the librarian... Level 3 and daemon hammer at most if you want but drop the rest

With those 90 points you can add another centurian and a missile launcher on one of them. This adds so much beef to your star without sacrificing anything other than one scout squad basically.

Personal preference, I would drop the hammer and level 3 on the librarian as well and give each centurian a missile launcher instead. Still great against infantry with the blast templates but can help pop a knight or another high armour target.

Personally, I'd drop both scout squads for a min tac squad with apo and pod. Same amount of ObSec, but more durable, and save some points for the sword on the second knight, or adding more centurions. It sucks running min squads of cents, because you need at least 4 cents to get majority toughness 5.

I disagree with dropping the librarian to two, though. Every mastery point counts, and you really want that ignore cover vs bikes/serpents.

Um Why would I need for I have 3 characters in the squad at T4 and 3 at T5 when its tied I go by the Highest Correct?

Quite rarely, a unit will contain models with differing Toughness characteristics. When
this occurs, roll To Wound using the Toughness characteristic that is in the majority in
the target unit. If two or more Toughness values are tied for majority, use the highest of
these tied values.
For example, Nogg’s Grot Mob contains several Gretchin (Toughness 2) and an Ork
Runtherd (Toughness 4), so the Gretchin’s Toughness of 2 is used for all models. If there
are only two models in the unit (the Runtherd and a single Gretchin) when the rolls To
Wound are made, the Ork’s Toughness of 4 is used for both models.

Hmm is giving up the Objective secured worth it for another Centurion?

Also I have noticed very much a lack of Vehicles and Monstrous Creatures in my current meta do you think that Missile launcher would be worth it? No super-heavies allowed anyway. Lots of necrons last time and orks before that.

I did over load the Librarian a bit. but I wasn't sure what to do with the extra points.

You think I should upgrade the scout squads to tacs with apocs?

Isn't majority toughness based on how many wounds are available at each toughness? Ie you have six wounds at t5 and eight at t4?

If you switch to the ally foc, you only need one troop choice but still get obsec.

Huh, that's an interesting change from sixth, you are totally right.

Missile launchers give you range as well... They still tear up orks with small templates and any time you can wreck their trucks or wagons early you essentially auto win because you get to shoot that many more turns... Then again you shouldn't ever have issues with orks so it's not important...

I completely agree with the drop the scouts and add the tactical / free apothecary option as well... Free feel no pain is awesome

Ah I see. I didn't realize ally gave objec sec. Good to know. Ill update the list in a minute.

Still not sold on the missile launchers but we will see.

I personally don't like Missile Launchers, the str 8 is nice to krak armor, but usually the grav guns have that covered. I think the hurricane bolters compliment the grav cannons well... Anything the cannons suck at taking out, the bolters got and vice versa.

Id say drop the hammer. Staff is better because of AW. That means that if someone casts a power on your and you are a higher lvl than them you deny the witch on a 4+ which is awesome! Missiles are cool because of the 2 different options they bring. Blast for hordes and single shot for big things.

I find that I get more consistent wounds out of the hurricane bolters and krak than with frag. Frag is just too unreliable.

Higher level + adamantium will makes it 3+.

Seems like a pretty standard Draigo star. I personally prefer 4 centurions in mine, but I suppose it does cost me the psycannons.

I take missile launchers aswell, but mostly just in case my gate gets denied or I fail somehow. That and they are already on the model...

If you drop the missile launchers from the cents, and the tac to a 5man scout unit, you can add another centurion. Something to think about.

Is there a permanent stickied thread for Chaos players to complain every time someone/anyone gets models or rules besides them? If not, there should be.
