First off its illegal. The assassin can only be present if an inquisitor is present. Secondly It's an interesting concept but you need a points value and an idea of where you want to equip who with what. Also the GK termis are gonna be a huge point sink and while nice, are often overlooked for normal termis due to the Assault cannon. Beyond t hat revise away and ill get back to you.

Hey, all I know this isn't very interesting but I moved to El Paso, TX AKA nowheresville so if you live here or Las Cruces and wanna game PM me sometime! |

In addition to the other illegal elements mentioned, you cannot take the Immolator. Using allies from the WH list precludes using any Heavy Support choice. Further Immolators may only be taken if Adeptus Soritas units are included. The Vindicare is useless. How are your IST equipped? Which leads to the question of how you would use them. You have not AT capability at all.

ditch the vindicare for a callidus or eversor ditch the second term squad in elite section for a shooty =I= unit
something along lines of =I= w/psycannon & targeter sage x2 warrior x3 (hb is a favorite) mystic x1 hunker this unit down in some cover and you got some good shootin
meltabomb and targeter on the deepstriking justicars dont field only 1 dreadnought, ever >.< ... buy 2 or go home =)
general idea is pretty effective, gluck!

Hmm... points well taken, especially the assassin and anti-tank defeciencies...
And yeah I forgot about the Immolator idea (damn, cos I love those things).
So, I guess it boils down to: What is the choice for the ally?
Imperial Guard: Mobile capability, mass infantry, ordnance and damage soaker
Space Marines: No Grey Knights (argh!), decent troops, more dreads
WH: Faith points, fluffiness, erm... point more out for me.
I think I may head towards the IG, due to the tanks (being in their troops and Elite section, not heavy support) and get some chimeras and storm troopers.
SO............
HQ
Brother Captain Stern w/ retinue of GK Terminators
ELITE
2 squads of 5 GK termies
Inquistor w/ retinue
TROOPS
2 Squads of Inquisitorial Stormtroopers mounted in Chimera (grenade launchers, no grenades)
FAST ATTACK
2 GK Deep Strike
HEAVY SUPPORT
Dreadnought w/ TW Autocannon Dreadnought w/ Lascannon
I really like the terms, but realise the points drain... but, apart from that, how is it lookin'?

gotta be honest here, stern is fluffy but kinda comes up short. mainly because his rules are a bit too diverse for his own good. the extra attack and wound you get from a true grandmaster is more preferable imo, altho hammerhand is great and should be considered =P
2 squads of 5 GK termies: these guys are great but 15 terms is huge. i'd cut points here first when the time comes.
Inquistor w/ retinue some details? =)
TROOPS
2 Squads of Inquisitorial Stormtroopers mounted in Chimera (grenade launchers, no grenades) IST comes standard with frag nades, how many per squad do you think? also i suggest outfitting them with meltaguns to help with Antiarmor
2 GK Deep Strike: how many bodies are you thinking per squad? be sure to tag justicar with meltabomb and targeter.
Dreadnought w/ TW Autocannon: i dont think GK dreads can take autocannons, unless its some new FW jibba jabba?
gluck!

Terms: I love the looks of em, and would use em in a big game only (only one in a -1000 point game)
Inquisitor w/ retinue: At least 3 warriors (this is a really beta version, as I only have a partial copy of the codex in pdf format)
Inquisitorial Stormtroops: I was kinda thinking of letting the men take on the men and the chimera take on the tanks... but what about 1 melta, 1 grenade launcher?
Deep Strike GK: I'm thinking 5-6 in each.. mebbe one with a psycannon.
Dreadnought: Well, it says so in the codex... but I haven't actually seen the bit for the dread... unless it is a FW jibba jabba
Also, I am torn apart over what ally I should take... and recommendations? I am leaning towards the IG cos I wanna start an army with them too... so I could kill two birds with one stone. And I love the way they look... gonna make em desert corps... hoo rah...

Chimeras can't take on armor. They should be taking on infantry. You also shouldn't be mixing weaponry in your stormtroopers. Have them for one role makes them more efficient. And yes, induct guard if you're going to use Grey Knights.

i agree with skyth. don't mix special weapons. and most I.G. tanks are better at taking inf. targets. while the inf. is usually geared to take out vehicle targets.

Oh no, what I meant was one squad with nades, one with meltas.
And for interests sake, why Guard with GK?

guard offers a lot of extra bodies, a heavy weapon per squad as well as the option of taking guard ordanance. the main reason i user guard is to be able to take improved comm upgrades, i usually tag one on a armoured fist chimera and another on a leman russ. the 2 improved comms allows me better ensure that all of my teleporting GK units come in w/o delay.
