Well, I think I've mentioned this, Tervigon is only a Troop if you have a Brood of x30 Termagants. You have enough, but not in one Brood. Also you should put a Thorax hive on everyone who can take it...so both Tyrants, and the Tervigon should have them.

Lastly I like to run Zoeys in Broods of x2, for durability, but that depends on your "meta", if you split them you get an extra roll on Powerz of the Hive Mind!, and 2 more Warp Charges.

If you own one, no reason not to use it, but a Mawloc does a lot more for me that a Harpy ever has.

I was looking at a way to get as much as possible from the swarm box. But I'm seeing way to much different lists that I really have trouble with choosing a decent list. Can anyone please give me a decent list (preferably already proven in battle?)?


What about this? Would you guys keep the guard or would you rather use zoanthropes?

I don't much like that one...This is top off my head, so you need to check costs

Swarm Box, Tyrant, Warriors:

HQ: Winged Tyrant, Twin Brain Leeches, Thorax: Electro bugs 240

Troops: Termagants, x20 80 points
Troops: Termagants, x20 80
Troops :Hormagaunts, x15 75
Troops: Hormagaunts, x15 75, the other 10 Hormagaunts I converted into Devilgaunts ( Gaunts with Devourers) They look distinctive, and I can add them to a x20 Brood to get a x30 so I can use a Tevigon as Troops.
Troops: Warriors, x3, Strangle Cannon 100

Fast: Gargoyles, x10 (acts as a screen for the Tyrant) 60

Heavy: Carnafex> Dakkafex (Brain Leeches) 150

That is 860, you can trim to 750, or add to get to 1000+

Very good add ins: Second Tyrant ( so good it is "must have") Second Dakkafex, or a Tyrannofex (Style), a Mawloc. If you get the new box, you can build two Venos, and one Zoey and add three Elites for 140 total points (This is how I would go to 1000 )

So add in Elites to hit 1000, add in a second Tyrant to hit 1250 (1240) Add a Mawloc, and a second Dakkafex, and you're at 1550, so trim 50...etc.

You can win games with this template, and you will be fearsome in Maelstrom scenarios.

Want to add Tervigon? Tervigon: Thorax: Electro, 205, +10 Devilgaunts + 80, add in Hive Commander...305 points (see above, 1550 + 305 = 1855, trim 5 )
