Ive just recently got back into painting after nearly a decade away from it, enjoying it alot. With end times ongoing and 9th coming soon i thought id paint up an archaon model. Its my first time trying OSL and im fairly happy with the end result, not as neat as it could have been if i spent longer but overall im satisfied. Feel free to critique, i would love some feedback.

It looks nice, and the photos are well done.
I don't really care for the gloss you have on the OSL portions of the model.

The highlights could Realy use some more layering. The Lines between grey and black are clearly visible , Looks like Edge highlighting where it shouldnt.also the placement of the osl is... Wrong?the light Would Surly come from under the Model, not infront.
For a Showcase Model that presents you as an Commission painter i Would expect mich more detail work.

Looks great!

Only question I have is why the gloss sheen on the red only? It makes it look like bloodsplotches rather than red light.

The paint job is fantastic, but the gloss really brings it down quite a bit. It just doesn't look right.

I would have to agree with winterwind. I looked at the model and honestly it doesnt look that impressive. Maybe its just the gloss thats throwing everything off.
