I was flipping through the dex my friend lent me since he just started up an MT army, and I really don't find them so fancy, what exactly can they do that normal IG can't?

They're an elite force, so better kit and more tough assignments than your average front line grunt.

Their formations are their real advantage. That and their orders are different

- Different orders and Warlord traits
- Unique formations
- Can be taken as allies with Objective Secured, and without needing to take regular Guard troops.

This, if you're taking Scions, consider taking a Commissar as an HQ choice and slap him on another squad, and then take the Scions as allied Troops, this will give them Obj Sec
