So I going to pick up the Legion of Everblight all in one box. Figured at the next journeyman league I could try this army out so it will be in dry dock for awhile. Problem is Iam new to the game only been playing for one year and never played against them so I have zero experience. What's legions play style? I want a totally different play style then my Menoth army. Thanks for any information.

Mostly beast heavy.

Generally more shooting, but only because the sweetness that is the ravagore and the beasts are glass cannons.

You've got some tough melee hardness with the Thagroshes, super spell slinging with the Vayles, and lots of shooting with the Lyliths.

How many beast does a typical legion army run at 50 pts list? Sounds like a intresting army to try and play

I've seen 3-5 heavies and a sprinkling of lights/lessers at 50. As long as you have forsaken or shepherds, they can run really hot every turn.

Legion generally run with a lot of beasts. It seems pretty typical in my area to see 3+ heavies in just about every Legion army.

There is only a couple of Legion players at our club, myself being one of them.

I have focused more on the shooty side of Legion (mainly cause my main army is melee heavy Cryx) with Lylyth being my only Warlock at present.

What I have atm is Ravagore, Carnivean, max Ogrun Warspears w UA, Strider Rangers and the Catapult thingy. I have 2 shredders, 2 harriers and the spell martyrs that make decent points fillers.

I only really play 35pts so I don't have any Fury issues. I plan to get a few more beasts so then I'll pick up the Shepard and Forsaken. They do tend to be auto-includes in most peoples lists but Legion can work without them, just not as beast heavy.

Need more 's in my life!
