Working on my 1500 point Highlander Renegades. I'm using the army list from the new Siege of Vraks book (as its better than the IA:13 one in my opinion). I have had pretty decent results with a similar list, using a Blight Drone instead of Spawn and a Skyshield, so I think I will keep the majority of the army, but it's nice to get different perspectives. Any input is appreciated.

I'm interested to know why the Vraks list is better than the IA:13 one, and what in this list benefits from it - the list, to me, looks like a legal IA13 one.

How many Rapiers are in your Rapier battery?

There are 3 rapiers in the unit, apologies leaving that out. Siege of Vraks has no 0-1 limit on zombies, and ordnance tyrant lets me both take artillery as non-compulsory troops (more slots for rapiers, it this wasn't highlander), and I can fire barrages into combat. I consider replacing the spawn with a Wyvern but am not entirely sold on it, the mobility might be nice with the spawn.

Oh, ok. All clear. Though annoying that you can't use many of the SoV advantages in the highlander format.

Do you have any anti-air plans? I know R&H are usually short of anti-air. That's possibly the reason to swap the spawn back to Blight Drones? I don't expect you'll need to deal with more than a couple in highlander..
