The pathfinder box great. It gives you a lot of options and extra stuff, and honestly it's the best box of I've had so far. It puts the fire warrior box to shame, and it has so many extra bits, only downside is that once you've made your 10 guys you're left with enough heads and gear for a few more guys. Luckily, I had some left over legs from a set of fire warriors, some turf/scenery grass, and some tried shrub stuff I usually use for decorating the bases. Some super glue and painting later, and this is what the end result was.

Basically I primed the parts and glued them to the shrub stuff, and then super glued turf onto the shrub in order to make it not only look better but hide the fact that there was no torso bit. I figured I'd go for a bit of a cartoony look for them. I drew inspiration from the scenes in cartoons where someone is hiding in a bush/bush costume and sneaks around in it and just holds still whenever someone walks by sorta like this http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/MobileShrubbery

Anyways, I know they don't look perfect, but I think it's a pretty good way to get by a lack of torso bits, and I doubt anyone would know the people aren't the full model if I didn't tell them they were lacking everything.

That is incredibly creative, and it looks good as well! This gets my seal of approval, for sure.

What do you call a lasgun with a laser sight? Twin-linked.

Oh man, i can imagine whole units made like this. When there isnt enough bits for a full piece, just substitute bushes and call it camo, great idea! It looks totally convincing.

This is amazing! Reminds me of how a dude made some Kommandos for his orks that's gained some notoriety online.

Yours is actually legit awesome and doesn't come off as goofy like this ork. Love the concept.

Ingenious. Might end up doing something similar myself. Also love the paint scheme, similar to mine.

This is genius, definitely going to be directing my bro to this thread

Looks like a Chia-pathfinder. I can dig it though.
