I have been getting used to the rules for 7th edition (last time I had played was in 5th edition) and I found that I love ork trukks, especially when in my local tournament where the games are timed so moving around large mobs on foot means I wouldn't get to my opponent in enough time to do much before we had to stop. My usual tactic is to put 'eavy armored boyz into trukks, and throw them at the enemy to pretty good effect. I also have my warboss and a pain boy in a trukk with 9 'eavy armored nobz and call it my command hammer of death. The only thing that has successfully stalled them so far are large groups of wraiths, in which case I we both slowly whittle each other down until the game ends. The only problem with this tactic is that trukks count as kill points, and while I love the ability to shoot my boyz towards the enemy at blindingly fast speeds (typically getting to assault on the second turn easily) the trukk are almost freebie kill points for my opponent. So I thought about having not so many trukks out, and having Nobz instead of boyz inside of them as I could only ever put 12 models in a trukk anyways, so I might as well get the most bang for my buck. Plus the absolute horror on your opponent's face as they realize that your trukks are full of nobz, not just boyz is priceless. So anyways, here's a list I've been toying around with in my head for a little bit.
HQ: Warboss: power klaw, twin-linked shoota, mega armor, da lucky stikk, da finkin' cap. 135pts
HQ: Painboy: bosspole. 55pts
Troops: 10 Gretchen, 1 Runtherd: Squig Hound, Grot Prod 45pts
Troops: 10 Gretchen, 1 Runtherd: Squig Hound, Grot Prod 45pts
Troops: 10 Gretchen, 1 Runtherd: Squig Hound, Grot Prod 45pts
Elites: 9 Nobz: 'Eavy Armor, 7 Big Choppas, 2 Power Klaws. 283pts
Transport: Trukk: Rokkit Launcha, Red Paint Job. 35pts
Joined by: Warboss, Painboy.
Elites: 10 Nobz: 'Eavy Armor, 7 Big Choppas, 3 Power Klaws, 1 Bosspole. 335pts
Transport: Trukk: Big Shoota. 30pts
Elites: 6 Meganobz: 1 bosspole 245pts
Transport: Trukk: Big Shoota, Red Paint Job. 35pts
Heavy Support: 15 lootas. 210pts.
The idea being: Grots grab backrow objectives, lootas shoot things, nobz destroy things and grab the opponent's objectives.
