I have been getting used to the rules for 7th edition (last time I had played was in 5th edition) and I found that I love ork trukks, especially when in my local tournament where the games are timed so moving around large mobs on foot means I wouldn't get to my opponent in enough time to do much before we had to stop. My usual tactic is to put 'eavy armored boyz into trukks, and throw them at the enemy to pretty good effect. I also have my warboss and a pain boy in a trukk with 9 'eavy armored nobz and call it my command hammer of death. The only thing that has successfully stalled them so far are large groups of wraiths, in which case I we both slowly whittle each other down until the game ends. The only problem with this tactic is that trukks count as kill points, and while I love the ability to shoot my boyz towards the enemy at blindingly fast speeds (typically getting to assault on the second turn easily) the trukk are almost freebie kill points for my opponent. So I thought about having not so many trukks out, and having Nobz instead of boyz inside of them as I could only ever put 12 models in a trukk anyways, so I might as well get the most bang for my buck. Plus the absolute horror on your opponent's face as they realize that your trukks are full of nobz, not just boyz is priceless. So anyways, here's a list I've been toying around with in my head for a little bit.

HQ: Warboss: power klaw, twin-linked shoota, mega armor, da lucky stikk, da finkin' cap. 135pts

HQ: Painboy: bosspole. 55pts

Troops: 10 Gretchen, 1 Runtherd: Squig Hound, Grot Prod 45pts

Troops: 10 Gretchen, 1 Runtherd: Squig Hound, Grot Prod 45pts

Troops: 10 Gretchen, 1 Runtherd: Squig Hound, Grot Prod 45pts

Elites: 9 Nobz: 'Eavy Armor, 7 Big Choppas, 2 Power Klaws. 283pts
Transport: Trukk: Rokkit Launcha, Red Paint Job. 35pts
Joined by: Warboss, Painboy.

Elites: 10 Nobz: 'Eavy Armor, 7 Big Choppas, 3 Power Klaws, 1 Bosspole. 335pts
Transport: Trukk: Big Shoota. 30pts

Elites: 6 Meganobz: 1 bosspole 245pts
Transport: Trukk: Big Shoota, Red Paint Job. 35pts

Heavy Support: 15 lootas. 210pts.

The idea being: Grots grab backrow objectives, lootas shoot things, nobz destroy things and grab the opponent's objectives.

Tough-as-Nails Ork Boy

Alpha strike armies, drop pod space marine lists, and anything that can pop 10 all around armor will destroys this list. See gretchen while good for objective camping aren't going to stand up to being shot at and charged. There's 1 simple rule that I follow as an ork player "Boyz before Toyz". It seems that you want to play a semi-speed freaks army. I'd recommend boyz squads in trukks to give the enemy a choice to shoot at the boyz and ignore the nobz or to shoot the nobz and ignore the boyz.

'Nids growing soon
3500 pts. unpainted
Admech 1000 buying & building
If you don't enjoy playing against people with unpainted armies, break into their house when they sleep, paint their figures for them, help yourself to their cheerios and then your problems will be solved.
Well, my opponents usually don't have more than 1-2 Wave Serpents 'cos Serpent spam is very expensive in real life money.
GENERATION 11: The first time you see this, copy and paste it into your sig and add 1 to the number after generation. Consider it a social experiment.

Waaagh! Warbiker

Alaska

Yeeaaahhh, see above. Basically, if you wanna blitz mobs of nob thugs at people, maybe look at battlewagon rushes. Orks have a detachment called the Blitz Brigade: take 5 battlewagons with at least minimal upgrades, they all get scout. Its pretty nasty, and wont leave your mint nob's chilling backfield without a ride.

Have you looked at the new bikers? The basic warbiker got 7 points cheaper, and now you can take painboys with bikes with them, making them nasty AF.

Yeah, grots are straight up terribad. for the same cost, take two mek gun kannons. Mod your own (because orks can), and use them to babysit backfield.
