Thinking of Joining a Davinite Loge

Bexhill, UK

Hi all,

I've actually gone and finished something. A buddy of mine bought me a Questoris Knight Magaera for Christmas (what he really got me was a bill for £110 as I then needed to spend similar on him - the git). I had no desire to have more than one so I opted to make mine into a Freeblade mercenary for use with either my loyalist or chaos armies.

I present the Freeblade Triarii

I wanted the shoulders to be like Ancient Romanii shields

I feel the base is an area for improvement. Possibly I need to add something where the metal decking meets the crumbled road so it's not as harsh. I could also do something with it's toes as a few of them are sort of hovering.

Armies:
(CSM/HH) - Iron Warriors; Death Guard; World Eaters; Night Lords
IG - Vestfalian Expeditionary
Force (Solar Auxilia - HH)
SM - Blades of Inaros (Homebrew)
DE - Kabal of Ouroboros

That's a good lookin knight! Nice to see a magaera get some love, and the paintjob really suits the lore, all dark and foreboding.

Behind you

I think its great but if the eye lenses were brighter it would draw more atention to the cool head and add spot colour.

That's a lovely knight you have there. I especially like the shoulder pieces, which are just great!

Great job, the knight looks very cool. It has that workhorse look not a show piece of equipment.

For the base have you tried some razorwire and abandoned weapons/bodies. It looks like the Knight has overrun a line of fortifications and the base could tell that story
